Dear Jesus, my head is throbbing so bad. God, I hope Louis and I didn't get high again like that time during spring break. Ugh, I hope he doesn't try to wake me up either. Literally, I love the kid like he's my brother, but I swear to god if he brings weed around me one more time then he's gonna have to catch these hands."Hey, wake up." I heard Louis say while lightly shaking my shoulder but I slapped his hand away and turned side ways where I was sleeping. "Give me five more minutes, Louis." I snapped before settling back into my slumber, but I was left in peace for long before my body lurched forward, instantly waking me.
"Louis, what the fu-!" I started to yell but I was taken aback by a man that was driving my car with a gun in his lap staring at me. I stared at him in confusion before the events of yesterday rushed back to me, and I instantly regretted raising my voice at him. He was staring straight into my eyes, making me slightly more afraid of him. "Who is Louis?" He asked calmly. I felt my breathing stop for a second before completely going haywire as he stared at me with dark eyes. I turned my face away from him, my eyes rapidly searching the floorboard where my feet were, trying to avoid any confrontation from his obviously deranged man.
"Audrey, tell me who Louis is right now." He said lowly, sounding more dangerous. I kept my eyes on the floor before I turned my head and stared out the window, looking at the forestry surrounding us. "Tell me right now!" He yelled while picking up the gun and pointing it at my head, making a lump form in my throat. "H-He's just a friend." I whispered, praying he believes me. He scoffed before grabbing the front of my shirt and bringing me over the center console closer to him before saying, "Don't fucking lie to me." He growled, but I shook my head in protest while saying, "I'm not. I promise."
He looked me over before shoving me back into the seat before setting the gun in his lap and switching the gear into drive before speeding off down the highway. I put my seatbelt on because of the speed he was going but I wasn't too entirely against it because a cop could pull us over and I could get help. We sat in silence as he continued to drive, me stealing glances at him from the corner of me eye, watching him hold onto the steering wheel with white knuckles. I finally took my eyes away from him and turned to look out of the window, seeing the large patch of trees starting to thin out before a small town came into view. It had a diner that had a good amount of cars parked in the parking lot, a gas station, and a dollar store before the rode continued on into the thick forestry.
"I need to pee!" I almost yelled from the new idea that formed in my head, causing him to throw a glance my way before saying, "Hold it." I shook my head before saying, "I'm on my period and I need to go." I whined while crossing my legs and looking towards the gas station. He suddenly looked over at me before coughing and saying, "Alright." He turned into the gas station before completely turning off the car and getting out and coming to my side to get me.
We both walked into the gas station where a middle aged guy was standing behind the counter, not even looking up when we entered. I threw glances his way before turning and walking towards the back with this strange guy right on my heels. I looked around the back of the store to see a back door before I walked into the somewhat clean bathroom but when I went to close the door, he stopped it and said, "I'm waiting right here." I nodded and closed the door before locking it.
"Fuck." I whispered to myself before looking in the mirror to see makeup smeared all over my face, making me look absolutely disgusting. I took some paper towels and water and wiped off the makeup before deciding to leave my mascara. Once I was finished the only thing I thought of was to get out of here and get help. The diner wasn't that far from the gas station, but I need a way passed this guy. I got it! I slowly opened the door a crack to see him running his hands through his hair before looking around suspiciously, but the squeaking of the door made him turn around. "Can you go over to the isle over there and get me some tampons?" I asked gently with a smile while pointing to the isle farthest away from the backdoor.
