Pizza is good for the soul.

I laugh then I get into his car.

" Your a good friend." I say looking out the window.

" I know I'm amazing, It's a gift." He says running his fingers through his hair.

I try to make conversation to fill the dead silence in the little red car.

" How's Holly?" I ask finally looking at him. He had a thinking face on and was looking at his hands. It was like he was ashamed of something. Like a child sent to time out for eating a cookie before dinner.

" Holly's well....Holly's Holly." He says a grin spread across his face. Holly was his on again off again girlfriend. She was in his words " Complicated."

After a few more seconds of sitting there listening to the rain Hayden says" So were you wanna eat?"

I laugh, I was in no mood to eat or really speak. But pizza was always nummy and good for the soul.

"Anywhere with pizza!" I clame.

" Pizza Hut it is Lady's and Gents." He says pulling away from the curb.

We don't talk much on the way there. I needed to pull myself together. I cried some more. I curse some, stub by toe. WHICH DON"T ASK ME HOW I DO WHILE IN A CAR!!!

We pull into the small parking lot of the run down looking Pizza Hut. He should of went to the nicer one. But hey pizzas pizza. " Its going to be okay Jamie." Hayden says opening the car door to get out. I take a look in the mirror. I looked like shit. My blonde hair was soaked, my make up everywhere. My eyes, cheeks and nose red from crying. I get out of the car and follow him in.

He holds the door open for me.

" Why aren't you just the gentlemanly type sir." I say laughing. I Curtis my imaginary dress.

He makes a motion like he was tipping a hat. " Why the pleasures all mine Miss." He says trying to copy a souther accent. 

We both walk in laugh like crazy. 

We go to the cash register and there a tall red head girl who looked both stoned and board out of her mind. That didn't stop her from trying to get Hayden's number as I order. " Large cheese, stuffed crust and two Cokes."

I tell Hayden to go find a table. He graicshly does to escaped the red heads come get some look.

I come back to the table to find him sitting with Melody. Melody was about 5 foot even, dark hair, dark eyes, decent tan and fashion sense. We also weren't exactly Friends or enemy's. She was Kim's friend so on multiple occasions we had hung out.

I sat down. " Oh my gosh you poor thing! I wanted to tell you how they had been flirting lately but I didn't think it was my place." Melody blabbers out before I could squeak a Hi.

I wasn't surprised they had been talking like that behind my back it would make sense.

" It okay." I say joining Hayden in shoving my face with pizza.

" I think what they did was awful! Just down right backstabbing.!" She state.

" Yeah, funny thing is just three days ago he was trying to kiss me and be Friends with ' Benfits'." I say offering her some  pizza.

She shakes her head no. " Wow what a whore. And as for him he needs his junk cut off. " She says looking at me with her deep brown eyes. They were full of pure pity and sympathy.

" They were both my best friends, now I'm left with Jacklyn and this guy." I say pointing to Hayden who had shoved more pizza in his mouth.

He notices us looking and looks back. " What?" He says his mouth full.

I shake my head and turn back to Melody.

" I'm not even her friend anymore, I mean how shady can you be." She says playing with her hair and blowing a bubble with her gum.

" I agree, there both shady whore and deserve each other." I say eating the crust from one of the two slices Hayden had manged not to eat yet.

" Whats she gonna do when he moves in a week?" She asks checking out the football player a few tables over.

"Well long distance isn't and option for him. He straight up told me he couldn't stay faitfull." I say looking down at my hands. I hated remember stuff about him already. I just wanted to die, get wasted or die.

She has a look of pure WTF on her face. " HE REALLY TOLD YOU THAT!" She whispers in a low tone.

I nod my head.

" I would of beat the shit out of him!" She exclaims throwing her hands in the air.

" Yeah and he refused to end it. He said he wanted me for as long as possible. So I had to end it last week. It just hurt to much having him say he loves me and kiss me." I says tears in my eyes.

God it hurt. I had almost gave him my Virginity. He went and did this to me. I felt like he'd ripped my heart out and left me there on the side walk to bleed out like I was trash.

 *I could see it now a crazy phsyco Clayton. Me just walking down the road, on my way home from the library.

Clay: Hello there * Winks*

Me: *Blushes* Hi

Clay takes a few steps closer till I can feel his breath on my neck.

Clay: Your very pretty you know that right?

Me: * studers* Thhannkk yyou

Clay reaches forward. I think hes going to kiss me, but he sticks his hand in my chest and rips my heart out while laughing. I fall to the ground along with my books. I bleed out on to them. Hemming way, How to kill a mocking bird, 11th grade English for Ap students. I could see him walking down the side walk throwing my heart in the street and laughing. My eyes flutter close as I see him get in Kim's car. *

I realize Melody had been talking that whole time.

" and another thing, who does she think she is not even calling to explain. You should of kicked her ass!"

I laugh. " I didn't think about it till after I was five blocks over."

Hayden says something for the first time." You guys wanna get out of here? I don't like how those Madison kids are looking at yall." He nods to the football player that Melody had checked out.

We get up and leave.

He drops me off first.

" Its okay Jamie were hear for you!" Hayden says

" Yeah and how about some time this week we have a girls day! Shopping, hair, makeup, nails, movies, junk food and pillow fights." Melody exclaims hugging me.

I laugh." Okay bye guys." I says walking up the path to my house.

I needed a shower, sleep, whiskey and to talk to Jacklyn.
