We went to Hayden's house. He had a head start on us by at lest an hour. I grab the bottle from his hand and take a swig."Wheres Holly?" I ask as Melody sits down and plays on her phone. "I dumped her, long story short lets get smashed." He says a glassy look in his eyes. I nodded in understanding. relationships are complicated, no wonder people have one night stands. I go to pass Melody the bottle but she just smiles and shakes her head no. She had a sympathetic look in her eyes, but I didn't care at the moment.
Me and Hayden sat side by side passing bottles back and forth. He gets up and goes to the bathroom. I get a text.
Kimmie: Keep my name out of your fucking mouth
Me: Keep your tongue out of his! and pffft your not worth the breath to talk about.
Kimmie: whatever. everyone told me you told them. _____________. - me:bitch fuck you! I didn't tell anybody shit they all saw your skanky ass do it!
Kimmie: look here honey ! he kissed me I didn't kiss him , I saw you so I pushed him away !
Me: so you would of kissed him ?! if I wasn't there?
Kimmie: stop putting words in my mouth !
Me: I'm not you stupid bitch that's what you said
It goes on like that for awhile. finally I just throw my phone. Hayden doges it by a inch. " duh fuck Jay! can't you seen a drunk man trying to make it to his couch!" he says stumbling to the couch." sorry bro." I say. I look over and melodys asleep. she looked like a cute little kid. hayden looks over and grabs a blanket, draping it over her. I mentally awe, barf but awe.
We both sit there no words exchanged. just sit there staring at the wall and boozing away the night. I finally hear Hayden's light sores around 6 am.
That morning:
I wake up to melody shoving hash browns and coffee in my face." Fuck Mel." I groan. " Oh come on it's noon! get up lazy bones." she beams. I look over and Hayden has the same grim shitty looks on his face as me.
I drink my coffee devour my hash brown. Then there's a knock at the door. Hayden gets up and answers. I hear Collins voice." aye man, what's up. man Jamie is tripping I gotta show you this shit." Hayden closes the door in his face. I just laugh , laugh and laugh some more.
