Poseidon's face contorted in shock, tilting his head slightly. "Why do you wish to bring the son of Hermes back to life?" He asked.

"Because," Percy shook his head, his jaw set. "He didn't deserve to die. He killed himself to save the world, he deserves a second chance."

"He betrayed you and the entire camp, I thought." Poseidon said, clearly being careful with his words.

"He was being used, brain washed... and with the neglect from his father, he must have lost faith in the gods." Percy said. While he was in bed, he tried to piece together what had happened with Luke in the past few years. Luke wasn't evil, Kronos manipulated him.

What he didn't tell his father, though, was the kiss. Or any positive feelings either shared with each other.

Did Percy even love Luke back?

Surely not. Luke betrayed him. Broke his heart, in fact.

Then why did he want him back?

Poseidon took a deep breath. "Well, it is certainly possible, but I am not quite sure what Hades would think. He was blamed for something Luke did."

Percy's eyes lit up. "So you'll do it?"

Poseidon gave him a small smile. "I'll see what I can do. But- in case Hades will not bring Luke Castellan back, do you have anything else in mind?"

Percy pondered the thought. His mind was so set on getting Luke back, that he didn't really think about what else he wanted.

The corners of Percy's mouth quirked up into a smile. "Mr. D in a dress, dancing for the other campers."

To Percy's surprise, Poseidon laughed. It was a loud, booming laugh, but it was quite soothing to Percy. "I'll see what I can do, kid." Poseidon ruffled his hair, another thing that surprised Percy, and walked away, towards Hades.

Percy was mentally screaming, but he calmly walked back to his cabin, a small smile on his face.

A/N: I was thinking about ending the chapter right there but I'm a nice person and decided to keep going. :)

Percy had sat on his bed, thinking to himself for what must have been hours, until Grover had walked in, a smile on his face.

"Come on, Percy." He said. "Stop being depressed and do something." Grover smiled, already taking Percy's arm and marching out of the cabin.

Percy rolled his eyes, but otherwise did nothing to stop Grover.

Percy and his friends had laughed, ate, and it was obvious they were all trying to cheer Percy up. But that entire day, Luke had never left his mind.

When did Luke ever really leave his mind?

Percy had noticed that Annabeth would never really meet his eyes when she spoke to him, which was a lot less than she usually spoke to him. He wanted to ask what was wrong, but by the time he noticed he was too tired anyway.

At nine, they all went their separate ways to head to bed, but right before Percy got into his cabin, he heard it.

"Percy?"

Percy turned around, not quite believing what he heard.

It was Luke.
