Wang Feng came home before the sun set. I had been in one of the gardens with Li Xia when he came and lifted me up into his arms. Blushing, I look up at Feng as he carried me off while Li Xia giggled at us.
When we reached Ping, Feng ordered everyone to leave us alone. Wang Feng never liked anyone to hear the passion of our love. More importantly, he never liked for anyone to disturb it.
"Lan... Let's go to Jing"
After the long round of passion, I lay in Feng's embrace. We were enjoying the peaceful night until he made the statement. Lifting my head, I look at him with surprise.
"You must miss your family"
He smiled while he lifted a hand to cup my cheek.
"And I still owe your grandfather and uncle a proper greeting"
"We can go...? Does Feng not need to go to court?"
"I already spoke with the emperor. Do not worry about it"
"Then we can go?"
I smiled happily. Jing – my family!
"Um, we can go..."
Feng suddenly pulled me down and held me under him with a smile.
"Just Feng and Wei Lan?"
Feng placed a kiss on my forehead.
"Just Feng and Lan"
Then he kissed me deeply – breathlessly.
"We will head out in a few days" Feng let go of my lips to kiss my cheek. "Is there anything you want to prepare before we go?"
I shook my head and smile.
"Is my Lan happy?" Feng kissed my smile.
I nodded, still smiling.
"Good"
I put my hand on his lips, stopping him from kissing me.
"Is Feng happy?"
Wang Feng's smiled was all the answer I needed.
