Chapter 3

Sherwin's POV

My bus stop isn't very far away, I live in a neighborhood so I just have to walk about 50 feet until I'm at a stop sign. My sister usually gets there first because she runs, but there are times like this morning where she is truly scared for me, so walks with me to the bus stop. There are a lot of people that bullied me last year at our bus stop.

"Maybe there's someone new that will be your friend" Tehana said hopefully. "Nope. There isn't, there never is." I said sad. We got to the bus stop before everyone else, so after about 5 minutes people started to flood around the stop sign. "What's up freak." one guy said. Another one purposely hit me in the shoulder while walking by me. "Yeah, watch it freak!" Then they all started laughing. "Would you just stop it this year?! Can't you grow up?!" My sister screamed. They just pushed her out of the way and kept bullying me, as usual. Then one punched me...

Jonathan's POV

I have to walk a pretty long way to get to the nearest bus stop where all of my friends are. It's probably about half a mile? At least that's what my mom told me. I recently moved houses closer to my school so I get to go to a new bus stop. So I walking to the stop sign and I saw a circle of my people. So I walk up to Tehana. "What's going on?" I asked her a bit worried. "They won't stop hitting him!!" She said crying. "Hitting who?!?!" I said getting protective. "My brother!!" I start pushing people, slowly getting through the crowd, when I saw my best friend, Bryson punching a poor kid.

He looked really bad, they must have done a lot to him. "Hey!! What do you think you're doing?!?!" I screamed. "Oh, he started it, he threw a punch first, I was just defending myself man..." He said all innocently. Then I looked at Tehana's bother? I didn't know she had a brother. He was on the ground with his back to me. I reached down and tried to help him up.

He stood up and I finally saw his face....wow. He was adorable. He had freckles and red hair that was all over the place. He didn't look too good, it looked like they they beat him up pretty bad. I must have been staring for a while because he coughed uncomfortably and yanked his arm from my hand. "Th...Thanks...." he said stuttering. Oh my lord. He is the cutest, wait what?! What the heck Jon, what are you thinking?! You're both guys.

Sherwin's POV

"Th...Thanks..." I barely got out. He was so cute, wait what?! Not again.... I've liked a guy before, and it really did NOT go well..... I'm sure my face is super red.... "You're welcome, tell me if they do it again...." He said while everyone else got on the bus, wait THE BUS?? when did that get here? Then Tehana ran up to the guy and hugged him and thanked him. He then held out his hand, "I'm Jonathan, you can call me Jon" he said nicely.

"Uh....I love y......Uh......" I said akwardly. I've never actually talked to anyone here. "I'm....Sherwin......" I said. "Well I'll see you around Sherwin. And with that, he left.

Tehana's POV

Jon went up to him and helped him up, then they just started staring.....and staring......it got a little akward, so I went up Jon and hugged him. "Thank you so much Jon..... I'll never be able to thank you enough...." I said crying. Then Sherwin started talking to him.....WHAT?!?! I mean it wasn't really whole sentences, but still. HE SAID WORDS!!!! I ship them. They are so cute together. I really hope they date.... I'm gonna make them like eachother....but how??
