SLY'S POV.
It was odd. The tough guy from last night, who attacked us, was now shy and nervous. Is this the same guy? I guess that might be expected, as I did hit him hard on the head last night. I doubt he remembered much. None the less, I didn't lower my guard. I was sure he was trying to trick me into thinking he was scared and innocent to make me lower my guard. It wouldn't work though. I don't trust easily.
This guy wasn't your average fighter, he was very skilled as he was able to take my cousin Chris down last night with just a few punches. Which didn't make much sense to me. He has the same build as me and I could barely take Chris on. I was curious as to where he learnt to fight the way he did. I was about to ask him when he suddenly groaned and held his stomach as a low grumble arose from the pit of his stomach.
"You're hungry?"
"M-mhm..."
He seemed rather hesitant in his answer. "What can I get you?"
"...I-I couldn't tell you... you wouldn't believe me..."
"Oh? I've heard some weird shit in my life. Surprise me."
"...B-blood."
"What are you a vampire?"
And that is when he showed me fangs. My eyes widened in both shock and slight horror. He looked away holding his arms tightly, as if ashamed to admit it. All my life I thought vampires were just something you hear in fairy tales and legends. But yet, there I was. Standing face to face with a real vampire, and he was desperate for a feed. I was lost on what I was supposed to do. Was I to get Chris? Was I to let him feed in hope he wouldn't drain me dry?
I looked over at him. He had clutched his stomach tighter and was groaning in agony. He kind of reminded me of myself when I was a child. I often had moments growing up where I went days, maybe even 2 weeks without eating. I felt as if I was looking at myself. Before I knew what I was doing, I spoke up breaking the awkward silence that had filled the room.
"I'll feed you."
"W-what?"
I sat down beside him and held my arm out to him. He looked at me as if to say 'you're joking yes?' But I simply held my arm out. He hesitantly took one hand to my forearm and the other to my hand holding them firmly. I watched him as he did so. If I had to guess I'd say no one was ever this nice to him in his lifetime. To be fair other people would probably freak out and run or try to kill him. I don't know what Chris would've done in this scenario. Then that's when I felt his fang bite into my wrist.
It stung like a bitch at first. I understood why he held my arm. I wanted to pull away but I knew that would cause me more pain. But to my surprise, he drank rather smoothly. He sat perfectly still as he drank my blood from my wrist. His eyes were closed, he slightly loosened his grip after a bit to allow more blood to flow through my veins. He was calm, and gentle. Not something I'd at all expect from a vampire. It was, how to say... cute.

CHRIS' POV
I was out in the kitchen, preparing food for a party Sly and I were holding at our place tonight. Sly was meant to be helping me prepare. But he was checking up on our attacker from last night. 'Attacker...' was that even the right word? Sure, he did physically strike Sly and I, but, in all honesty he didn't appear as the type of person to do so. But one can't base everything off appearances. Yeah ok the way he dressed may have given him a suspicious like appearance, but sometimes Sly and I dressed in similar attire.
I'll be honest, I didn't want to bring him home after what happened. I didn't like being punched in the face by some stranger. But Sly being who he is, insisted that we brought him home. Sly didn't have the best life growing up. But from the looks of things neither had the guy we had brought into our home. After he punched me I saw a few scars on his stomach where his shirt had ridden up, and I think Sly saw that to. My cousin had always had a softer side to him, despite his tough guy attitude he portrayed around everybody.
I had put the food in the fridge with the drinks when I had then realised: Sly had been gone for twenty minutes. The male must've woken. I had grabbed a beer and walked down the hall to where we had laid him to sleep. I had placed my head against the door to listen in and see if I could hear anything. To my surprise, it was dead silent. I opened the door to see what was going on and that's when I saw the male, biting into my cousin's arm and drinking his blood. We had bought home a vampire!
The vampire looked up to see me at the door and quickly let go of Sly and backed up on the bed. I was pissed right off. But before I could say anything Sly stood in front of him with his arms out.
"Don't be mad at Mist. I let him feed."
"Mist?" He obviously meant the vampire.
"Yes, his name is Mist. He was hungry and trusted me enough to tell me what he needed. So be nice. He's just hungry, and I think he's alone."
I looked over at this 'Mist' person, then I looked Sly again. Yea, I was pissed from what I saw, but I eased up. At least he had fed before the party. AH SHIT THE PARTY!
"Sly we have a party tonight. And we have a vampire here as well."
"He just fed Chris, I'm sure he'll be fine."
Mist simply nodded to what Sly said. So I just sighed and had let it slide.
