-Emily's P.O.V.-
My mom stopped in front of the school gate. The security guard stared at the chery red convertible in awe. I took my hair band out of my hair.
"I don't need that," I said.
"Ms. Whitfield is not going to like your hair out," my mom replied.
"Well, fuck her!"
"Emily Marie James, don't use that foul language with me!"
"Mom, we've been over this. We both know you can't unspoil me."
"Alright," my mom rolled her eyes, "but I'm going to speak to you like that too. See how you like it."
"Oh, really?! Hit me with your best shot."
"Get out of the fucking car!"
"Bye!!" I grinned as I got out of the car.
Everyone just glanced at me.
"Emily!" My old friends rushed towards me.
Nothing changed. I've been going to that crappy school for two years, Walsham High. Now I'm back at the school I used to go, Great Wood School, and my friends still remember me. Even my crush remembers me. Oh, today should be interesting.
"Long time no see," Victoria said as she hugged me.
"It had been too long!" said Charlotte.
"I missed you guys so much," I said, hugging them back.
I could see my crush hiding in the background. I bet he's moved on.
The principal opened the school doors. She called in the grades. Say senior three already. She finally called us in and she greeted me with a smile. I reached the classroom and sat down.
"The last person I want to see right now is-" I was cut off by Jade Maxwell a.k.a. the last person I wanted to see. She came up to me.
"You're in my seat," she said, glaring at me.
"You're in my field of vision," I replied.
"Get up!"
"Fuck off!"
"Bitch!"
"Slut, whore, cheater," I got up, "Two years in a shitty school can really change a person so don't think you'll be able to boss me around." I sat back down when I finished my sentence.
She stared at me with an open mouth then walked off.
Things are going to be different.
