Remember our first kiss? We were at the park, my head in your lap, admiring the different shapes that the clouds would form.
I remember how excited I was to tell you how that one cloud that you claimed to look like a blob of nothing, looked like a hippo eating grass. When I told you what every single cloud looked like, you just faintly smiled at me and I couldn't help but giggle.
We then had a staring competition. I didn't dare move my eyes from yours, because your eyes sparkled so much in that moment, it captivated me. It wasn't until you leaned down, and your breath hovered over my lips, that I realized I would lose.
And then our lips met, and I couldn't dare keep my eyes open. Your lips were so soft, it felt like I was kissing the clouds up in the sky. The taste of your lips lingered on mine as you pulled away.
I remember you whispering a tiny "you lost" and I couldn't help but grin widely at the sound of that. How could I keep my eyes open when the person I'm head over heels for kissed me?
It's a different story now anyways.
Now when you walk hand in hand with them, you talk about the stars in the galaxy. You talk about how much you swear the stars in galaxy were placed in their eyes, and how constellations were painted on to their skin. A pink tint would rise to their face and you would mention that pink was your favorite color.
It's funny because now you babble on about galaxies yet wince at the mention of clouds.
It's okay though.
Clouds were always a blob of nothing.
