"3....2....1...." Ness closed his eyes and the bell rang He jumped out of his seat and ran to his locker. "Hey, Ness!" Lucas called, walking over. They were locker partners and Best Friends. "Oh hey, Lucas!" Ness smiled, grabbing his backpack. "Did ya hear that Marth and Zelda are finally a thing?" Lucas said. Ness nodded. "After she broke up with Ike, she ran straight to Marth!" He said, putting his hat on. Lucas grabbed his backpack and closed the locker. "So..... I'll see you on the bus?" Ness asked. Lucas nodded. "But I'll be a little late. I have to talk to Pit." He said. Ness nodded and ran out the school. Lucas reopened his locker, lifting the bottom part of it. He took out his Journal. More like a diary to others but it had all of Lucas' secrets. He opened it to a certain page, filled with writing.
Ness and I boarded the bus yesterday. I attempted to hold his hand but he caught me. He just stared out the window.
Today Ness got picked as our baseball Team Captain. He's so good at it!
Tomorrow is Ness' Birthday and the day of Ike's Party. Me and Ness like to think of it as his Birthday Party.
Lucas sighed as he closed his Journal. He walked outside, to his school bus. He got on the bus just to see Pit sitting next to Ness. Lucas gasped softly and looked for a different seat. He couldn't find any seat so he just sat in the back, on the floor of the bus. He opened his Journal and began to write.
