It was July 28th, 11:30 am, and everyone was very excited about what was happening today. It was a special blue boy's birthday. Pidge and Coran got busy with the invitations the night before, Allura and Shiro were out buying snacks and helping to decorate the cleaned up training room in the Galaxy Garrison, and Hunk was busy baking Lance's birthday cake. Now, Keith– he was in charge of distracting Lance until the party was ready.

Keith knocked on the McClain family's door. "Lance!" He yelled. Mrs. McClain opened the door and let him in. "Lance? Your friend is here." She said. Lance ran downstairs, and Keith looked at him. Lance smiled a faint smile, but it seemed that there was something wrong. "Come on Keith, let's go get coffee." He said, as he opened the door.

Keith's P.O.V:
Lance opened the door, and motioned for me to walk out. "Lance...Are you okay?" He stopped and looked at me. "I—I'm fine." He mumbled, while grinning. But I knew he didn't mean it. We walked for a while, but I didn't talk because I'm too awkward for my own good. After a few minutes, we arrived at the coffee shop, and we sat down at a table. I wanted so bad.. So bad to ask him what was wrong, to tell him happy birthday, so tell him it was going to be okay. But I couldn't, I really wish I could. I didn't have anything else better to do, so I just looked at Lance. His face. It was stained with tears. He was crying while we were walking, before I knocked on his door. I wish I could've helped him, but I'm useless.

Third Person P.O.V:
Keith's phone buzzed. He checked his phone, and saw a text from Shiro. Everything was ready, and all he had to do was get Lance to the Garrison. "...Lance. I uh.. sort of thought that it would be cool to go to the Garrison..because I wanted to go there to pick something up from Iverson.. And it would sort of be like looking at the memories again.." OH COME ON KEITH, WHAT A LAME EXCUSE. Lance nodded slowly. "Sure, Keith. But it's not like you remembered me from the Garrison," he laughed. "Let's go pick up what you wanted to pick up from Iverson." They left the coffee shop, and started walking to the Galaxy Garrison. "Hey Keith, if you don't mind me asking, what are you picking up from Iverson?" "Something very important to me." We passed the time by talking, and eventually made it to the entrance of the training room in the Garrison.

Hunk's P.O.V:

I saw Keith outside the entrance, and motioned for everyone to hide. The presents for Lance in one corner, the cake and food in another, and decorations scattered around the room. Everything took a while to prepare, but it was worth it. Lance was my best friend, and he deserved the world.

Third Person P.O.V:
Keith quickly told Lance to close his eyes, and so he did. They stepped into the room, and everyone jumped out of hiding, and shouted, "Happy Birthday, Lance!" It was like nothing Lance had ever seen before. So much time and effort put into one party, for one very special person, Lance McClain.

~Time Skip Brought to You By Clone Shiro's Beautiful Hair~

By the time the party was over, it was already 11:16 PM. Almost everyone invited to the party had gone home, and Lance had his family's car loaded with the things everyone had gotten him. Only Lance and his family, Keith, Hunk, Pidge, Allura, Shiro, and Coran were left. "Thank you guys so much for all of this. I don't know what to say, but just know that I'm very happy." Lance said, and smiled. "No problem, Lance. We're always here for you," sPaCe dAd rEpLiEd. "Whenever you have something to tell us, don't be afraid to come to any of us for support."

~Small Time Skip~

Lance packed himself into his family's car and waved back at everyone else as they drove away. Coran, Allura, and Shiro had invited Hunk, Keith and Pidge to their house for the night, and for breakfast the next day. It was a good night, and it would definitely be one to remember.

Keith's P.O.V:

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a splash of blue. I quickly turn my head around and find that it is a small, carefully wrapped present. Shoot! That's the present that I gave Lance! And he forgot it... Maybe he purposely forgot it...? Does he really hate me that much..?
