Moriah

Finally I made into church in just enough time for my parents not to notice that I made it there late. I literally rushed home to hop in the shower and change into something quick and fairly easy to slide over my huge belly. Everyone at the church knows that I am pregnant. It's pretty obvious. And what makes it bad enough is that I am the preachers daughter. I could honestly care less of what any the church members feel about me or my pregnancy. I know that I screwed big time by allowing myself to get caught up with Liam and with him being in the public eye that just put the icing on the cake. It draws a lot of unwanted and unneeded attention to my life.

"Moriah" My Aunt Glenn called patting my knee. I look her way immediately.

"Ma'am?" I answer after rubbing my hands together.

"Where were you last night, your Grandma Martha said that she came by the house and you were no where in sight" she asked listening to my father preach

"I went to Liam's house last night to apologize to him for throwing that rock at his head" I said rubbing my thigh

"Was that it?" she asked looking at me

"Yes ma'am" I said looking her in the eyes knowing damn well that I was lying in God's house. I'm gonna repent later on tonight.

"Okay, if you say so" she said turning her attention back towards my Dad.

I would have sat with my Mom on the second row but when you come in late that brings enough attention to you already. With me being pregnant I get more attention than normal. And being that my dad is a pastor to a mega church that's a lot of unwanted attention.

The service has ended and I must say that the sermon that he preached was pretty good. As usually all of the women around my age would come up to me and rub my belly and ask how I'm doing pretty much being fake because some of them girls ain't never talked to me a day in their  life.

"Hey Moriah" Kimberly said walking up and hugging me

Kimberly was a childhood friend at the church. We fell out when she decided that it would be a great idea to have sex with my ex boyfriend who still attends the church and did I forget to mention that they are married now with two children. Can you say home wrecker?

"How have you been doing I've been seeing you in the media a lot lately with your rich white baby daddy" she said holding her latest Louis Vuitton bag.

"Why does color have to be apart of this sis" I asked her turning my head to the side

"I don't know, maybe because you have been dating black men all your life and to find out that you have a white baby father it's pretty obvious that you have been unsatisfied with your own race." she said flipping her fake long weave over her shoulder.

"And it's pretty obvious that you were not satisfied with the relationships that you've been in, for you to go and take someone else's man you homewrecker" I said plastering a fake smile

"Excuse me" she said stepping up to me

"Ok Ok that's enough. How are you Moriah?" Corey said stepping in between me and Kimberly

Me and Corey dated for about 4 years while growing up. His father is the assistant pastor at the church and his mother is over the youth department. If you would have asked me if I would ever date Corey when I was 14 years old I would have to told you hecks no. But that one year when we went to the Annual Baptist Congress in Dallas TX it was over from there. We started dating our freshman year of high school. Kimberly was always so jealous of me and Corey's relationship that I honestly didn't know if I could keep her around as a friend. After we graduated from high school Kimberly and Corey went to the same college in Georgia while I went to a school in North Carolina that's how I met the Carter's. I went to go surprise Corey for his birthday but I caught Kimberly giving him his birthday gift on her knees and it was over from there.
