Moriah
They finally hooked me up to the epidural and stretched me across the table getting everything ready for surgery. Nurse Trudi brought Liam in after they were done with me.
"You okay?" he asked as soon as he walked in rubbing and kissing my forehead.
"Yeah." I smiled at him
"Alright let's begin shall me" Dr.Hanson said walking into the room.
30 minutes into the surgery
I've been laying on this table for 30 minutes now but it only seemed like an hour have got by.
"Okay so you are gonna feel a little pressure. Going in to get Baby A dad if you want to stand up you can." Dr.Hanson said
"Okay" Liam said holding the camera in his hand getting all the footage.
30 seconds later a baby cries fill the room. All my emotions just hit me at once and I just started balling like a baby
"It's a girl for sure. Happy Birthday princess " Dr. Hanson said holding her over the curtain so that I could see her. She was so chubby. She was definitely our big baby in all of our ultrasounds.
I look over at Liam who was crying harder than I was. I mean red in the face and everything.
"She's beautiful" he said wiping my face and kissing my lips
"I know, one more baby left" I sighed trying to catch my breath after all that crying.
Okay, we are going in for Baby B" Dr. Hanson said going in to pull out Baby B "And Baby B is a girl as well. Happy Birthday cutie" she raised her over the curtain and she looked exactly like her sister.
"Go over there" I said to Liam as I was looking the directions of my daughters. I'm a Mommy.
Liam
They are beautiful. They look just like their mother which is amazing how genetics work. I walk over to the girls to get a better look at them.
"Hey my beauty's" I said rubbing Baby A and B's arm
"Congratulations Dad" Baby A's nurse smiled "What's Baby A's name so that we can write the first letter of there names on there hats" she said grabbing the hat and maker
"Serenity Giselle" I sobbed a little. I have never cried this hard in my life before but I guess when you have girls they make you use your manly hood a little bit.
"And Baby B's name" Nurse Trudi asked
"Trinity Marie" I said
"Would you like to hold them" Nurse Trudi ask swaddling Trinity
"Yes" I said putting the camera down and cuffing my arms like Moriah taught me when we went to visit her brother's baby. The nurse placed each baby in each of my arm. I made my way over to Moriah who was still crying hysterically.
"I can't stop crying" she laughed through her tears
"They are beautiful" I said leaning in so that Moriah can get a better look at the girls
"They look just like me" she said kissing their heads
Liam
Moriah was finally out of surgery and resting in the recovery ward. I decided to let her rest and go talk to our awaiting family in the waiting family. I walked into the room and everyone stood to their feet.
"Their perfect" I smiled looking down at my feet. And everyone attacked me with hugs
"Oh my goodness" Moriah's mom said grabbing my face and kissing my cheek
