Moriah 

I haven't seen nor talked to my mother in over a week. I really need to apologize for the things that I said to her. I was just in a very emotional state. I know that I shouldn't have said those things to her but I wasn't fully in my right state of mind. Liam is really pushing me to talk to her being that our baby shower is in a couple of weeks. I just don't have the guts to go over there and apologize. 

"Moriah" Candice said bringing me out of my heavy thoughts 

"Come on in" I said sitting up in my chair 

"Your mother called today." she said causing my eyes too widen 

"What did she call about?" I asked

"She wouldn't say but you know that it would be good to talk to her after everything that went down last week." she said putting her hands on her hips 

"I know Candice you don't have to tell me every waking second of the day" I said sending the rest of my guest list off to my party planner. 

"Well, then talk to her. It shouldn't be that hard to talk to your mother. Should it?" she ask 

"It should when I was being totally disrespectful" I said 

"Well, you dug a hole that you have to get yourself out of" she said leaving my office 

I'm getting sick of Candice and Kira. They are always right about something but you know that it is good the actually have friends like that in your corner. I picked up the phone and dialed my mother's number. 

Ring....Ring....Ri-

"Hello" my mother spoke into the receiver 

I stayed silent for a couple of seconds before she spoke again "Moriah" 

I sighed "Hey mama" 

"Hey" she sighed as well

We just sat there and talked for hours like we haven't seen each other in years. I apologize for everything that I said to her, about her. Everything and it felt so freaking good. I wrapped it up at the office and headed home to Liam. I walked into the house to smell an amazing scent coming from the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen only to find Liam pouring take out on plates. 

"You know if you would have just waited for me. I would have made you some real food" I said causing Liam to jump and food flying all over the counter 

"Shit Moriah" he said holding his heart 

I laughed so hard "Did I scare the big man" I said walking over to him and wrapping my arms around his waist

"You didn't scare, you just gave me a quick little heart attack that's all" he said pecking my lips 

"How was your day" I asked sitting on the barstool across from him 

"It was pretty decent, I have to fire someone today" he shrugged 

I raised an eyebrow "And your day was decent?" 

He nodded his head "How was your day" he asked looking up at me 

"I talked to my mom today" I said causing his eyes to widen
