Bestfriend's brother part 2 (Emma and Natalie's daughter's life)

Peyton's big choice

Emma's POV

I walk in on Peyton and Ian both deciding what choice to make and it was so stressful even for me. I go see Dalton who had spent the night at my house and give him a warm cup of milk. He gets up and says "thank you, I can't wait to move". It made me worry and question what he meant by that I know he wasn't always excited so it had to mean something. Throughout the day my house kept getting fuller and fuller at the end of the day Natalie, Kyle, Elizabeth and Olivia showed up. Peyton starts complaining about her friend who had a problem with her boyfriend and as soon as she asks me for help Natalie says "you're asking the wrong person". We all knew what she meant she had the sweetest brother who always lets me be right and helped me through everything. Peyton then says "what?" and Natalie says "you were very young but your sister and my brother were everyone's dream couple" and Peyton says "really? I want to hear more" and Elizabeth says "yeah I want to hear this" and Olivia sits down with them. Natalie continues to go on about how Cody and I were a too good to be true couple then she said something that caught my attention, she said "they hit a bumpy road but they got through it too quick your sister was a very laid back girlfriend". I never thought of myself as that but I continue to listen sitting next to Peyton. Peyton then says "why do you say they were everyone's dream couple?" and Kyle says "because they were good looking and both were so sweet to each other they were together for a long time eventually everyone knew of them and about them in high school". Olivia then says "so did you guys win prom king and queen?" and Natalie says "yeah and get this Emma wasn't nominated at first because she didn't want to be then junior year and senior year her bestfriend nominated her either way and she won both times" and Elizabeth says "if anything I would have guessed you'd be the one to get nominated you seem more into it" and Kyle says "she was sophomore year". Natalie turns to Kyle and says "I was nominated freshman year too I just didn't win" and I said "only because you didn't show up to school much nobody really knew you" and Natalie says "I know I know". I hear Olivia ask a question that I personally didn't know how to answer she said "when did you know you had feelings for Cody" and I said "honestly just one day I knew that I liked him he stood out to me it doesn't make sense now but when you know you'll know" and Natalie says "she kept it a secret from me" and I said "can you blame me? you were scary, you didn't like Kelsey" and Elizabeth says "who's Kelsey?" and Kyle says "this really pretty but rude girl Cody dated once none of us had a problem with her except Natalie" and I say "so Cody broke up with her because Nat was upset". Olivia stands up and says "you guys sound like a movie wow" and I say "it wasn't all butterflies and hearts there were bumpy days but it takes love to get through it" and Elizabeth says "yeah you guys sound amazing". Cody walks in the room and says "yeah we do! we were and still are, there isn't a thing in this world I wouldn't do for this girl right here" as he kisses my forehead I look over at Natalie and see she looks kind of sad. I ask Natalie what was wrong and she says "well Aaron hasn't been sweet lately he's been kind of scared" and I say "why?" then she says "he's scared about the twins the money the room in our house Texas and all of that I don't know how to make him see it's not that bad" and Cody says "I'll talk to him". When Cody hugs Natalie Olivia says "have Cody and Kyle ever had a problem?" and Natalie says "well one time Cody was depressed he had lost two friends and his dad was gone he got frustrated and hurt Emma's wrists one time grabbing her and Kyle pinned him against the wall" and Peyton says "what did Cody do?" and Cody says "nothing I couldn't I felt horrible I didn't want to make another mistake" and I say "that's one of the bumps we got through". It felt nice to talk about all this with them because now their true feelings come out.

Kyle stands up and says "Romeo and Juliet do have a happy ending it's just in different people with different names". We all giggle and then I see Peyton look at Ian and say "I think we should wait" and Ian says "are you sure?" and she says "yeah we're not ready right now and we won't be for another while". I'm glad Peyton made a choice she was comfortable with but I couldn't help asking why she chose that so of course I ask "what made you decide all of a sudden?" and she says "you guys I realize we don't need to have a kid now just because we may not later" and Ian says "I know I don't need a kid if I have you by my side". They looked so happy for once everyone was calm. I hear Natalie say "so Peyton have you and Ian had any hard times?" and Ian answers for Peyton saying "yeah a couple actually" I listen in because I was shocked. Peyton then starts telling a story saying "well when we first met his friend Jack came up to me telling me all these sweet things and of course I said thank you while I was eyeing Ian and then Ian comes over and Jack leaves he asks me what was up with me and Jack and I say I don't know he's pretty cute huh and Ian says alright blondie and walks away". Ian continues and says "I walked away to talk to Jack and he had said in his words "I would love to get with her" so I walk back to Peyton after a while and I say so you're just a one day type of girl you're disgusting" then Peyton says "I didn't see him for two days after that until I was getting a burger and he sees me and apologizes I walk out with my order ignoring him and he comes after me saying he didn't know exactly what I meant by my comment and that he was just drunk so I gave him a second chance as long as he took me out to dinner which he did". Ian takes over and says "I took her out and we went back to her place and trust me I learned the hard way that she was not a one night girl" we all laugh and then Kyle says "yeah say that about my sister one more time and I will kill you" then I say "Kyle!..... man imagine if he hadn't apologized to think this all started by the words "he's pretty cute huh" it's crazy it really is the little things in life that matter". Peyton then turns to me and says "I know I'm staying here to finish college but I'll be there for your little one's birth" and I say "you will be the Godmother of this child Peyton". I felt bad for Peyton because she was always so good but everything always turned out so good for her she always got good grades, won valedictorian, moved out here with us and made it big on her own, plus got my mom's ring I was happy that she got everything but this one thing she wanted the most she couldn't have.
