I woke up and got ready. Nobody was awake yet and mom was already at work. I walked into Haylee's room. I turned on the light and her eyes opened.
We said our mornings then she got ready while I woke Hunter up. We all got ready and ate then Haylee went to her school and we went to ours.
Marcus was with Martinus and Sara in the school yard. Marcus and I made awkward eye contact for a split second. Hunter grabbed my hand and pulled me over to his friends.
We introduced our selves then the bell rang. We were all walking until I was pulled back by my backpack. I was spun around and my eyes net Marcus'.
"Are you two dating?" He asked. "Who?" I asked. "Hunter" he said. "No" I said. "Then why were you kissing in the hallway on Monday?" He asked. "It's not like I wanted to, he was kissing me. Why do you care anyways?" I asked.
"Because you two are getting close and I don't like it" he said. "So what, I'm not your girlfriend. I can hang out with who I want" I said. "I know, but you don't know him" he said.
"I know more then you!" I said. "Do not!" He said. "Do too!" I said. "Then what do you know about him?" He asked. If I say it Hunter would kill me. "A lot more than you think! Now I have class to attend"
I said. With that I turned around and walked to class. I have every class with Hunter. It was now lunch and I was sitting with Hunter.
Marcus, Martinus and Sara all walked by and sat at our table. "Okay then..." Hunter said. "Do you have a problem?" Marcus asked. "Do you, pretty boy?" Hunter asked.
"I am not a pretty boy!" Marcus said. "You are now and you always will be" Hunter said. They were both standing. People started to gather around.
"What do you have against me?!" Marcus asked. "A lot of things!" Hunter said. "Like what?! What did I ever do to you?!" Marcus asked.
I saw Hunter start to lift his fist. "Hunter words!" I said. His fist grew tighter. "Hunter! Words!" I yelled.
"You stole the one shot of me getting on the football team! You stole the one shot I had to prove to my mom that I am not worthless!"
"You will never understand how hard it is to have a mom that is constantly drunk and tells you that you are worthless every damn night! You don't know how hard it is to keep your grades up when you are failing the rest of your life! You have no clue how hard it is to stop your little sister from crying almost every night, when you can't even stop crying!" Hunter yelled.
I saw tears pouring down his face the he bolted. He ran out the door leading to outside. I turned to Marcus. "Thanks a lot, Marcus. Hunter wait!" I called after him. I ran outside and he was gone. "Hunter?" I asked. Nothing was said.
"Hunter?" I asked again. No answer. "Hunter!" I yelled. Nothing. Not good, not good at all. I detached around the whole school. I went back inside and to the table. "Is he okay?" His friend Alex asked. "He is gone" I said.
"What do you mean?" His other friend Connor asked. "He is no where to be found" I said. "Oh no" they said. "I am not close enough to him yet to know where his favorite places are" I said.
"So?..." They asked. "So I need your help" I said. They nodded and we all walked out of the school. They led my to the park where the swings were. Nothing was here. Not even a trace.
We searched the mall, my house, the whole town. He is gone...
