Chapter 6 Bipolar Or What?

Emily's Pov

He was silent when I asked him what he wanted from lily, I meant that she wasn't even wealthy so it could not have been for money that he kidnapped her. After a total ten minutes he spoke, "Will you believe me if I tell you that I am in love with your best friend?" I was speechless. I just did not know what to say, if in past any one would have said me that Ashton Crave would share his love for my best friend I would have arranged an appointment for them with the psychiatrist. But now I could just not believe my ears. I muttered, "Are you serious?" He nodded his head giving his answer. I demanded, "Um...so what do you want me to do?" He sighed and answered, "I want you to make her give me a chance, to prove my love for her." Again I was speechless, lily did not want to be with him, he could have done many wrong things to her forcefully but he didn't, he wants to prove his love to her. I think I should help him, after all I want her to be happy in her life. One day I might find the right man for myself so I would marry him that would be like abandoning lily. She has no one except me. I will help him.

I spoke, "I am ready to help you but on some conditions." He beamed at my agreement to help him but then glared when I mentioned  the word 'conditions'. He barked instantly, "What conditions?!" I sighed and then replied his rude question, "First of all you will never show your this attitude to lily. You won't force her for something she does not want to do. You will give her space in order to gain her trust. At last you will have to let her complete her studies. Am I clear?" He rubbed his index finger and thumb on his chin and thought about my terms. At last he nodded his head in agreement. We both shook hands and smiled.

Lily's  Pov

It has been a day since I last ate, I was purposely starving myself, I just couldn't let him win. Though he could keep me captive but he cannot make me eat forcefully. He has sent different people with different delicious dishes to convince me to eat but he did not know he himself invited trouble. Ashton Crave you might be a Mafia guy but I am lily Rose. The name might sound girly and I might look weak but as it is said don't judge a book by its cover. Get ready because I am going to make your life a living hell. Its my promise to you and I am very determined to fulfill my promises!

Suddenly, the door of walk in closet opened and saw a figure entering with a tray in one hand. I shouted,"Why don't you people get it? I don't want to eat. Just go away. Leave me alone! "I heard a familiar voice say," Too bad later you would regret your decision of sending me away. "Her voice I had heard that before.... Emily?! I somewhat questioned-yelled," Emily?!"
She replied, "So at last you remembered me!" She came in light so that I could see her properly. I immediately embraced her into a bone crushing hug and cried hysterically. She shushed me and tried to calm me down. When I had no more tears to shed I released her from hug and inquired, "How did you get over here? Did that bastard kidnap you too. Oh God, I pray that he would burn in hell." Emily at once whacked my head and yelled, "how could you wish something so harsh for someone?! You weren't like this! For God sake you should at least try to think over the situation. I mean, he says he loves you, why not give him a chance. This made me boil with fury, now my friend has also sided him, Traitor! I shouted, "Chance my foot, you are siding HIM Em? I can't believe this is happening to me!"

She sighed and said softly, "lily... Please try to understand why can't you just give him a chance if he is unable to keep you happy I myself would get you back." I instantly answered, "What do you mean by that? Did you make a deal regarding me with him?!" Her silence was her answer, a tear escaped my eye and I whispered, "How could you?" She came near me and hugged me and said, "Please Rosebud give him a chance...please for me..."
She was my best friend she was with me in thick and thin. If this is her wish then I would fulfill it. I would make Ashton's life a living hell and he himself would kick me out! I deeply inhaled and whispered a small okay. She squealed and hugged me and I returned back the same gesture. She made me eat food which by the way was heaven. What?!  I did not eat anything for 24 hours!

After I had eaten she walked me out of the closet. When I came out I saw him sitting on a chair near the window may be heard our foot steps because he instantly turned and stood up. He just starred at me with.....guilty eyes?guilty?!  For God sake when he doesn't feel guilty for killing innocent souls, this is nothing to him. Drop your act Ashton. When he did not avert his gaze I averted mine. Emily finally spoke, "She is ready to give you a chance." Then I spoke, "I want a separate room with all my belongings plus no one should enter in there without my permission. NOT EVEN YOU." He replied softly, "As you wish and I am sorry for my behavior yesterday." My eyes widened in surprise. Did he just apologize me? I turned my face towards Emily with my mouth agape. She winked at me and mouthed 'told you he is not that bad, give him a chance.' Finally coming back to my senses, I nodded in response. He smiled and said, "Umm...you two can talk till then I will get your room ready. See you two later have a nice day." With that said he left the room. He is not the monster i met yesterday. Uff! Is he bipolar or what?
