chapter three- how could you

"HOW COULD YOU!!"

Meredith was walking at full speed towards Jamie.

"Meredith!?" Jamie was trying back away from her anger filled friend.

Meredith stopped and left Jamie cornered, "you thought you could fool us Jamie?!"

"Meredith I'm not the killer" Jamie whimpered.

"Oh yeah then why does it say candy?! Jamie you played CANDY!"

Lauren whispered to Joe, "why is she so up tight?"

Joe shrugged and pushed towards the arguing couple.

"Meredith! Take a chill OK, Dylan." Joe signalled for Dylan to come over and take Meredith for a talk, when you are angry or scared Dylan is always the one to talk to.

Dylan and Meredith left, "Jamie, was it you? If it was don't denying it."

"NO and even if it was me which it isn't i would confess!" Joey took Jamie's arm and pulled her slightly upstairs, Denise followed.

"Wacka wacka" Brian said in the best Fozzy bear voice they think he had ever done.

Meredith and Dylan were outside talking, Denise, Jamie and Joey were up stairs and in the small room where Joe Moses was lying stood Brian,Joe and Lauren.

"Guys, you think Mer is right? I mean who else could be linked to candy?" Brian said almost in a mocking tone.

"No" lauren said at the same time as Joe only Joe said something different "maybe"

"Maybe? Joe! Really our old friend Jamie and your saying that she's a murderer." Lauren couldn't believe what she had just heard.

"well there's nothing to say that she is or is'nt, i mean the merderer could be anyone from Jamie to me and you Lo." Joe was a mixture of emotions, sad, worried, confused.

"lets not jump to conclutions!" Brian could see the emotions in Joe and the worry hitting Lauren.

"i think that we should grab some food from the fridge and bring as much as possable up stairs so we can eat,"

"wait, are you saying we stay in that room the hole time?! Brian we cant just hide like that! i mean if the killer is one of the team then we will be staying in the same room as them!" Lauren didnt mind staying in a room with the team at all but when there was a murderer in the house!

"well, we're gonna have to try" Joe sighed.

after their little talk Meredith and Dylan went back up stairs, Joey, Jamie and Denise were already up there, things had cooled down between them all. Brian went up stairs and told the others his plan to stay in the room and that Joe and Lauren would bring up food so they dont starve.

the team didnt like it, but it was the only plan they had.

Lauren and Joe went to the kitchen to find some food for the team, on their way they moved Moses outside so he was next to Bonnies grave, "we'll bery him later" Joe muttered at they carfully put Moses down.the two then went back inside washed their hands and started looking for food,

"bread?! theres only bread?!" Lauren couldnt beleve this, a big manor and what food? bread!

joe picked it the two loafes, "we're gonna have to go and buy some food later" Joe told Lauren.

"isnt that what the killer would want? us all alone?" Joe carryed on walking, he didnt want to think to much about the killers at the moment, no one did.

they knocked on the door up stairs, "shhhhh! hello?" Joey could be heard in his worring and yet somehoe calm voise.

"Joeeeyyy its us" Lauren sung, as she did whenever she talked to Joey.

Joey opened the door, everyone was there, dylan wareing scarfy, Brian wareing his pink shades and Jamie was writing in the diary Joe gave her.

they walked into the room as Joey closed the door behind them, Joe joined Brian, Meredith and Dylan.

Lauren joined Jamie, denise and Joey.

"what you writing Jamie?" lauren asked in her caring voise,

"keeping track of the days" Jamie said in a sad voise that told Lauren that she sould be there more for her firends.

Lauren put one arm around her buddys sholder.

"Jamie. we're only been here in this situation for two days, and its almost night fall so soon three days." joey said in a confused tone, joining Lauren and Denise more around Jamie.

"i know.." Jamie's voise was full of sadness.

"BREAD?!" it made Lauren laugh at how suprised Brian was.

"yeah? its all we got! we could make toast?" Dylan stood up for Joe who had just showen them what food they had.

"how are we gonna make toast?" Denise asked

"why dodnt you ask toaster over there?" Brian asked

this comment caused a few laughs, was the team reparing its self?

what would happen next?

*click, click*

The group suddenly stopped smiling and looked at the door,

"That wasn't the door, was it?" Denise said in a quivering voice.

Dylan jumped to his feet and walked slowly to the door, carefully he turned the handle.

"It won't budge!" Dylan was now trying to violently open the door, it was no good, they were locked in.

"OH GOD!!! AGGHHHHHHH!!!!"

The team ran to the window, as they looked down they could see two male figures lying on the ground with blood spilt carelessly on the concrete floor.

"JIM!" Jamie had realised who one of the figures were, Jim Povolo.

"Guys... Who's the other?" Joey was obviously freaking out big time, he was standing by the window but didn't want to see who was lying dead outside the manor.

"I think... I think it might be Briant!" Brian said in a confused yet sure tone.

"God it is!" Lauren exclaimed.

Of corse they were sad, but at the moment they were more concerned who killed their friends and why are they locked in?

"Pizza?" Denise offered everyone a peace of pizza but only herself and Lauren ate, the others were to stressed.

"Guys your gonna have to eat something!" Denise said whilst watching Joey and joe trying to unpick the lock on the door.

"Not hungry" Jamie said not taking her eyes off her diary, she was writing about everyday, who was dying and what was happening to them, not on,y was she doing that but she was going over the riddle again and again trying to de code it.

Brian and Meredith were talking in a corner of the room, no one was listening to them but they could tell that Brian was doing sweet talk, everyone knew he had a thing for her.

*creak creak creak*

Someone or something was in the manor and walking up the stairs, fast!
