The Fragile Idea Of A Talent (A Naegami Talent Swap AU

Before we begin *Important*

Here is some important information on the characters, as this is a Talent Swap universe and parts of their backstories and personalities will be altered.

It's important to note that in this story, it's a Non despair AU as well. I also find it important to tell you- as the readers- that in this story, the classes of the first two games are -in fact- a single, large class. Chisa Yukizome (non despair) is their teacher. All of their teacher. They're all now rotten oranges.

There are four (technically five) oc characters in this story- this was done for several reasons that will become clear as the story progresses.

More information will likely be added to this page as the story goes on, so don't be alarmed if this chapter is unpublished at times.

While yes, this story is Naegami themed, their relationship is not going to be the number one part of this book. No romance novel is only about the characters meant to have said romance.

Also- several of the characters from the Ultra Despair Girls/ Another Episode game will be present, as some are related to/ friends of important characters.

In this story Yuta (Aoi/Hina's brother) and Komaru (Naegi's sister) have been long time friends- though their siblings have never met each other in person. I have done this as Naegi and Asahina's friendship is going to be a very important part of this story.

I'm sorry if the story is slow at first- as I am in no way a professional author, though it is a career path I'm interested in.

There will likely be relationships other than the one between Naegi and Togami, please don't freak out if I include ships you don't enjoy.

Lastly- this story is told through Makoto Naegi's point of view, the general idea behind this is the fact that all assumptions of the characters are made by Naegi himself- not me.

So without further adieu​- as this explanation part has dragged on long enough- here is the list of the Talent Swap! Ultimates, and all of their backstories:

Makoto Naegi: Ultimate
Makoto Naegi knew from a young age that he was interested in medical science's. The first show of his talent however is that he found out he had an ingrown toenail at the age of five, and completely nursed to wellness in three days.
Naegi also had a passion for helping people- as he would help his sister train for races and such. He would also tend to her wounds. Though... Naegi was very clumsy and He often fell over himself- hence the bandages around his arms. He never messed up something to do with a patient though!
He was quickly noticed as the Ultimate Nurse, and the rest was history.

Byakuya Togami: Ultimate Prince
Byakuya Togami was always royal- and royally spoiled. He was very well educated in his home country and knew quite a lot. He had a slight obsession with murder mystery however- so his parents locked all books under that genre up. (dear old mom and dad 'eh?)
He had lots of siblings at one point, but one by one... They all went missing. Until he was the final Prince meant to receive the throne.
Due to this fact he has well hidden Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety.
He- being a survivor- was enrolled into Hopes Peak Academy as the Ultimate Price- and was of course accepted.

Mikan Tsumiki: Ultimate Lucky Student
Mikan Tsumiki was bullied- that's just how it was. She was a fairly useless girl in most people's eyes -even her own. She had a high-pitched voice and a stutter that didn't help the matter. Not to mention how clumsy she was... Thank goodness she wore pants with a skirt.
She decided to put her name into the Hopes Peak 'lucky student' raffle to prove she was useful. And much to her surprise- she actually won!

Sonia Nevermind: Ultimate Affluent Progeny
Sonia Nevermind... Where to start with this one. Ah yes- the fact that she's the soul Heiress to the most infamous corporation in Towa City... She was the Heiress to the Nevermind Company! And while the name was odd, she was rich beyond belief. Though she was a fairly kind soul who liked the occult and would always give to the less fortunate... That didn't stop her from claiming her title as the Ultimate Affluent Progeny however.
