My Dream

If only you could see what I see

Then you would love you too.

No other could be more interesting

I wish I could show you how.

You affect me more than anyone else ever has before.

And in a dark and gloomy world

You cause me to see the seasons.

You make me want to carry on

To live the dreams I'm dreaming.

All there is to explore, all there is to see

I want us to discover together.

That is my dream, my wish, my hope, maybe.

It wouldn't work with anyone else

You're the one it's got to be.

My vision is set, we haven't experienced yet

How a happier dream could seem.

Let's travel the world together.

You're hometown and mine both.

Let's spend some days camping out.

Hike a hill, on top we scream, feeling free.

We could do something rare and crazy.

Anything you have in mind?

Or just count the stars and play guitars.

Teach me how to strum the strings.

Show me how you sing.

And on cold nights when it's raining

I want your cuddles in my bed.

Would you be my teddy bear?

Could you kiss my forehead?

Would you let me touch your face?

Could we let our fingers lace?

Is it fair to ask to feel your hair?

We could simply lay there without a care?

Can I find out how those fine lips taste?

Can we be closer than space?

Let's forget the world in a hug that we will share.

Would you, could you, hold me tight?

Wake up early or stay up all night.

Just to sit side by side and see the sunrise.

As you watch the tears dwell in my eyes.

Just from seeing such a lovely sight.

But the sight is you, yes I did dare.

If only you saw how dearly I care.

You make me fight off all nightmares.

Whatever it takes to find your smile, too rare.

I'll fly with you into the skies, up past our sunrise

We could shoot for stars and even then more.

Just you is all I'm asking for.

I know I've always been a dreamer

Picturing what can't be real.

But for me you're something different.

With practical chance, understanding held dear.

It may sound like all I need is company

But I know better than that.

Yes I'll dream that we'll do many things.

Just looking at you is so much more.

But we don't need to do anything

We could sit around and stay alone and bored.

My ideas here are only the beginning

And even through an electronic world
