Just The Begining (merome)

Chapter 14

*Mitch's POV*

As my eyes slowly opened I became more aware of my surroundings. I looked over across the room to see Jerome sleeping soundly. It reminded me about my plan I needed to show the Captain the completed plan tomorrow.

I turned my head to the right to see my notebook at the edge of my bed. I reach over for it and couldn't grab it. I scooted a inch closer and reached again. I accidentally pushed it off the bed onto the floor making a soft noise.

I face-palm then sit my body up. I slowly scooted myself to the edge of the bed. I look down and see the notebook flat open on the floor. I slowly start reaching over trying to balance myself so I wouldn't fall.

As I got closer to reaching my notebook I felt my grip on the bed loosening.

"Shit.." I murmured as I got closer and closer. Once I finally was able to get a hold on it my hand holding me onto the bed let go.

"AH NO-" my scream was cut off when my face met the ground with a THUD.

My Injured foot was still up on the bed but it was slipping down. I tried to keep it up but instead it fell lifelessly onto the floor creating another THUD.

It stung so bad. Tears when slipping out of my eyes as I bit my lip trying not to make anymore noises. I heard Jerome wake up.

"Wha?... Hello?" he asked

"J- Jerome." I called out

"Mitch? Where are you?" he said as I heard him shuffling off the bed.

"I'm o- on the flo- or.." I answered.

I heard as his footsteps walked around his bed and towards mine. He walked towards where I was laying down.

"OH MY GOD!?," He knelt down next to me and continued," are you ok? What happened??"

I pushed my elbow against the floor at sat up slowly with Jerome's help.

"I- uh was trying to get my notebook. But since it was at the edge I fell off trying to get it." I confessed

He stared at my with confusion in his eyes. Then said,"Alright. Let me help you up."

His left arm wrapped around me back while his right arm picked me up from under my knees. As he slowly picked me up bridal style I felt pain shoot up from my foot.

"Ow...ah! ow.." I whined

"Sshhh it's gonna be ok." He said as he lifted me up.

He sat down on the bed while I was still in his lap. He then laid me down.

He handed me my notebook and a pen.

I looked up at him and said,"thanks.."

I opened up the notebook while he walked towards his bed laying down and falling asleep. I watched as his eyes slowly closed and his breathing settled. I starred at him in pure awe. I glanced down at my notebook then back up at Jerome. I got an idea to draw him. I bit my lip and grabbed my pen in hand. I took a long look at his face then started my sketch.

*Jerome's POV*

I woke up and glanced towards Mitch. He was sound asleep. I walked up towards him and ran my fingers through his beautiful hair and smiled. Then sat down on the bed next to him.

I glanced down towards his hands and saw his notebook turned open to a page. I picked it up and saw an amazing sketch of me sleeping. I studied the picture until I came across a word scribbled towards the bottom of the paper.

It read: Cute

I took a double take and read it again.

I thought to myself, 'did he call me cute?'

Just the thought of it made a blush creep up onto my cheeks. I smiled and closed the notebook placing it next to his hands again. I stood up.

I threw my hands into my pockets and started towards the door. A stupid smile on my face and my cheeks a dark red. I turned back to look at him once more then walked out of the room.

So my stupid Wattpad app wasn't working for the LONGEST TIME.

But I got a laptop today :D
