Chapter 18

John's POV

*before the phone call with Sherlock *

About a couple of days after Rosie death Mary came up to me and said " John I don't want have a another kid but can we adopt"

I was shocked when she said that " Mary so soon after Rosie but I will think about it " I say.

After that it didn't take long for me to warm up to the idea eventually I say " yes Mary let's adopt a child".

Now today was the day that we get our child. But before that we had to sign paper, choose a gender and we got a baby boy who is about 8 months old so maybe Fawn might like him.

There was alot of planning to do but now we have him. "oh John look theirs are new son"  Mary says picking him up.

I look at him and he's so cute. Then a guy with his hood up comes in " here are the details about him his parents are unknown. His name is Cove Jeremy lucky Watson his birthday is on 25th April 2016". thats a bit funny it's the day after Fawns birthday. I can't see his face and he seems a bit weird but what's really wires is that his birthday is the day after Fawns. " he is not allergic to anything now have fun" he says and leaves. He says that like Cove is a toy.
We leave adoption centre with our new baby boy. " John doesn't he have a very cute name " Mary says and I nod heading our way to the car to bring him home.

I sorted out the seat and Mary sat with him in the back so he is calm. Cove did nothing On the ride home except for smile and look out of the window.

*back at home*

Cove is now warming up to us and is speaking but you can hardly tell what he's saying but Mary has got the hang of it. Cove is also playing with Rosies old/new toys. "John I think that you should tell Sherlock about him".

I nod and grab the phone and call Sherlock. He picked up but it was Anthea. "oh hi Anthea"  " ok I'll get Sherlock for you " she leave for about 3 minutes and Sherlock goes the phone.

"Heysherlockihavesomethingtotellyouwehaveadoptedachild" I say really fast and he screams down the phone"WHAT" "yes Sherlock we adopted a child I know it might be soon but we are ready for this" I say much slower than before. I get no response.

I hear shouting in the background "John we have found Moriaty"  he says then pauses "ok Sherlock do you want any help" "yes you can which adoption centre did you go to" he says an I say. "Two Trees why?"  " oh shit, he was there earlier today John" he says and I freeze.

"WHAT do you mean Sherlock"  I say " no time to explain come to Mycroft office now " he says quickly and hangs up.
