The Late Late Show

Mal's POV
Legit all the girls and I have been doing today is rehearsing our song. Nothing else, just rehearsing
Yes guys the day has come, it is Wednesday and we'll be on the Late Late Show with James Corden tonight
We were using the boys rehearsal space so when we were almost done with our 12th time through, the boys came in
"Do you lie? Lie in your bed, your bed of lies" I finished and the boys were applauding us
"Yeah girls" Michael cheered
"How much did you guys hear" Aubree asked
"Like the last couple lines" Jay shrugged
"Ok, we want this song to be a surprise for everyone" I explained
"Ok, we want to be surprised anyways" Marcus said and hugged Aubree
"You girls will kill this performance" Drew said
"Thanks guys" I smiled
"You have nothing to worry about babe" Mikey told me as he hugged me
I nodded and we left their rehearsal space cause they needed to rehearse for this week
"You guys ready" Paris asked
"Definitely" we nodded
"Good cause we really need to be on point tonight" she said
"Yes mother, it's not our first time on live tv" I teased and the girls laughed
"We have to go to the studio to get ready" Aubree said and I drove us over to the Late Late set

We got there about 45 minutes later and we saw a lady sitting at the front desk, probably security
"Hi, I'm Mallory Birkland. We are Impact and we are performing on the Late Late show tonight" I explained
"Ok, go to set 5 which will be down the hall and on the right" she smiled
"Great thank you" I thanked her and we went to the set
"Ladies welcome! We are the style team so we are going to do hair, makeup, and clothes so lets get a move" a guy said and we all got our own chairs to sit in for styling
My stylist did a simple kinda smokey eye and did light waves in my hair
And then I chose my outfit (media) and met up with the girls
"Lets use the stage one time so we get a feel for it" Paris said and we nodded rehearsing the song one more time
Then we went backstage in our dressing room until James would call us out
"Ok tonight is a special night cause we have Hailee Steinfeld, Dylan O'Brien, and Impact tonight" James said and the crowd went crazy
First the other two did their interview and then, we were performing

Mikey's POV
"Turn on the tv" Marcus pressed and we sat watching it in the hotel lobby
"Now these girls are multi talented. They are the only artist to top Despacito this summer and they are still #1 debuters. They are also the best young girl group todsy being ages 15-18. Singing their brand new unreleased song Bed Of Lies, give it up for Impact" James announced and they all started singing

And then Paris started rapping and then Cara before the next chorus
I really want Mal to rap, really badly
And after that chorus, she started rapping
"I just figured if you saw me, if you looked in my eyes
You'd remember our connection and be freed from the lies. I just figured I was something that you couldn't replace, But there was just a blank stare and I couldn't relate, I just couldn't understand and I couldn't defend. What we had, what we shared, and I couldn't pretend, When the tears roll down it's like you ain't even notice em. If you had a heart, I was hoping you would've showed it some" she rapped with emotion and wow, it was so good
And then it was Aubree, and I think Mal was beatboxing a bit as well
"Is Mal beatboxing" I asked Jay
"She is, and she's killing it dude" he told me
"Yeah, so proud of her" I nodded agreeing
"Do you lie? Lie in your bed, your bed of lies" Mallory finished the song and the crowd went crazy as did the fans that entered the hotel
"Girls, so your first song, Higher. It's almost platinum here already" James said
"No way" Cara said in shock
"How did this begin" James asked
"We all kinda met online when we saw each other on an instagram account for talented singers and we ended up texting each other and decided, hey, lets form a group" Mal shrugged
"That easy huh" James teased "so, who does most of the songwriting"
"We all split it kinda evenly" Paris said
"Ok, so we will be playing Never Have I Ever" James said
"Oh boy" Mal sighed laughing
"We're doing it with shots of the strongest soda in LA" James said
"Can we start" Aubree asked
"Ok first to 5 drinks loses and gets pied and egged by her bandmates" James explained and they nodded
"Ok, never have I ever been in a serious relationship" James read
Mal and Aubree both drank
"Oooh spill" James squealed like a teen girl
"I'm in one now" Mal blushed
"Oh yeah Mikey" James asked
"No, it's Mikeeyeyyy" she sang and we all started laughing and cheering as did the girls
"Oh my god you crack me up" James laughed wiping tears from his eyes
"Ok so Aubree and Mal both have 4 the others are on 5. Never have I ever had a sip of my parents alcohol" James read and Paris and Cara took a sip

It eventually got down to where they were all at one sip
"Last question, hopefully. Never have I ever had a heated makeout session with a boy" James read
The girls looked at each other
Mal sighed and took a drank
"No way" Cara exclaimed
"The 2nd youngest, are you kidding me" Paris said
"What, if you have a boyfriend that looks like Mikey how can you not. That boy is sexy" Mal shrugged turning red
Adorable, absolutely adorable
"Wait, so when and how" James asked
"Um, last night *everyone gasps shocked* and I have never made out with someone so I told Mikey and it judt happened" she explained
"So, was it good" James asked
"Yeah it was great" she nodded giggling
"Ok well that was Impact, lets pie and egg you" James said and Mal started dodging everything
"Ok, that's not cool Mal, you lost" Paris exclaimed
"Well, I lost cause of something that happened less than 24 hours ago, what do you want me to do" Mal argued and the show was over

Mal's POV
"That was so much fun" Cara said as we entered the hotel again
"Oh my god, that song was a banger" Brady said
"Thanks Brady" I smiled
I looked at Mikey and he was smiling at me already
"You're literally the cutest" he whispered in my ear
"Haha thanks look who's talking" I laughed and we went into Mikey's room
I grabbed one of his shirts and some spandex, put them on, and I lied on his bed waiting for him to finish in the bathroom
He came out in a tshirt and basketball shorts
"You love wearing my clothes don't you" Mikey smirked
"I do, they're comfy, make me feel protected, and they smell like you" I shrugged
"Well you look hot in them so I don't mind" he flirted and smacked my ass
I rose my eyebrows at him and laughed nonetheless
I was just scrolling through my instagram feed and looking at the fanpages and them freaking out over the performance and interview when Mikey started kissing my neck, finding my sweet spot eventually
"You little tease" I huffed swatting his chest
He then grabbed my waist and pulled me into him as he started kissing me gentle yet hard at the same time
He then tried asking for entrance, but I kept denying him being a tease but he squeezed my butt making me gasp so he slipped his tongue in my mouth
We fought for dominance and he won, per usual
Then he started moving down to my neck and collarbones
I just tugged at the bottom of his shirt signaling him to take it off and he did and he laid me back down kissing me again
I think Mikey got a little tired cause he laid his head on my chest
"You tired baby boy" I asked running my hand through his soft hair
"Yeah. Rehearsals kicked my butt and then I was watching you supporting you" he yawned trailing his hand up and down my side from under my shirt
"Just go to sleep, you need it for the show tomorrow" I explained
"Yeah, I do" he nodded
"K night love you" I smiled
"Love you too" he whispered before falling asleep
