“Briseida can you please hurry up?” my sister yells from the living room. Today I was taking her to go see around San Francisco.
“I’m going. I’m just looking for my keys! You’re so impatient” I find my keys and head out to see my sister tapping her foot. “I told you to hold on; you are really impatient you know that?”
“Whatever let’s get going” she walks out the door, for an older sister she is really impatient. I look my door and head out. We get into my car, and drive off. We decided to go into a small restaurant on the outskirts of SF, almost heading into Half Moon Bay. It was nice and peaceful, no traffic like in the center of SF. It was a really nice day, nice and sunny about 75 degrees, it was perfect. “You know, I’m thinking of possibly moving down here. it would be closer to my family” referring to our parents who live in Half Moon Bay, I visit them every Friday, it’s a tradiccion.
“Really? That would be nice. Mom would be happy.”
“yeah she would” we get out of the car and find a small booth at the restaurant. We both pick what we want, which wasn’t much we just want something sweet. So I ordered a small piece of brownie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge over it, Yocelyn got the same, we got strawberry lemonade. We were talking about where she could work at and things like that. All of a sudden her eyes just go huge! Like wide open huge.
“Yocy what’s wrong?” I wave my hand in front of her face.
“Oh. My. God” was all she could say. I turned into the direction that she was looking. In the entrance of the restaurant was the one and only Colin Kaepernick. The famous quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. The heartthrob that melted the hearts of girls all around the US, one of those being my sister. Don’t get me wrong he was pretty handsome, but not my type.
“Oh my, Yoce you better not swoon right here, that would be embarrassing!”
“Don’t worry, I’m trying to keep it cool” She tries to act normal, but I could tell al she wanted to do was run over there and jump on hi.
“Is it working?” I reply with a smirk, remembering she used those same exact lines when I ran into Damien Lillard, from the Portland Trail Blazers, yes I am a Warrior, but that guy is so cute.
“No” is all she could reply. I turn around to see Mr. Kaepernick, he looked our direction and give us a nice smile and a wave. “oh my god, he noticed us. Colin Kaepernick noticed us!!” she whispers
“Girl chill, he’s just a normal guy that has a great gift.”
“You forgot to mention that he’s super attractive” she takes a drink out of her lemonade. “Bri… he’s coming over here… Bri, do I look okay?”
“You look fine”
“Hey, I couldn’t help but notice you two lovely ladies here, mind if I sit?” he asked, he was beautiful in person.
“No go ahead” I reply. He sits right next to my sister, who is going to swoon any minute.
“So what are your names?” he looks at my sister
“I’m Yocelyn Milan, nice to meet you” she shakes his hand.
“Colin Kaepernick”
“Yeah we know, it’s kinda hard to miss an NFL superstar, I’m Briseida Milan, but you can call me Bri” I shake his hand
“Aren’t you Stephen’s girl?” he asks
“Well we aren’t exactly boyfriend girlfriend so no?” I asked a little confused myself. What are we really?
“But you guys are all over twitter and instagram”
“But that doesn’t necessarily mean that we are”
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet you, he talks a lot about you”
“Really?” Yocelyn gives me a look.
“Yeah, it’s a miracle if he doesn’t haha” he laughs and my sis is melting. “That looks good, I think I’ll order one myself” he orders a brownie and eats with us. We sit there talk about football, basketball, pretty much any topic. At the end he asked for my sister’s number, which she was dying. It was a pretty good day so far, we got to meet one of my favorite quarterbacks!
Hey guys!! I updated again wohoo! Anyone else happy? haha. Anyways I wrote this chapter for my sister who has helped me a lot throughout this story. So thank her I update, she is always pressuring me to update. Go follow her too @YocyLove, she is writing a Colin Kaepernick fan fic. Does anyone here love him? Did you guys hear he is being accused of sexual assault? That is so stupid! I think they are just trying to ruin his career. Anyways Warriors host the Nuggets.
