Chapter 3

"What's behind that door?"

No answer.
Not very surprising.

I sighed and walked to Ethan.
I sat down next to him, he ignored me.

"So..."
I said,
"Can I sleep here?"
He looked up to me and stood up.

"You gotta do something first."

I bit my tongue. He continued:

"See, we don't just let anyone into our gang."

I laughed

"Your gang? What is this, some musical movie from the nineties?"

Ethan looked at me dead serious,

"No."

I stopped laughing and Ethan walked to a metal cupboard.
He pulled open the bottom drawer and took out a piece of paper.

While taking off his hoodie he handed it to me.

I read...

I   [  name  ]  swear to always stand by the B.A.D group.

I will not judge the ways that the B.A.D group handles certain situations.

I will not reveal secrets about the B.A.D group to non-members.

I will not speak of the B.A.D group in front of non-members.

I will respect, tolerate and obey to the current B.A.D leader: [  name/leader  ].

I will treat the B.A.D group as my family.

I will always remember the rule: "What's mine is B.A.D's".

I looked up at Ethan.
He was staring at me, his arms crossed.
I spoke hesitatingly,

"Y-you want me in your gang?"

Ethan knotted slowly
"If you are going to sleep here and eat here you will have to stick with us and help us do our thing."

"Your thing?"
I repeated.

Ethan didn't explain but handed me a pen.

I took it, looked from the pen, to the piece of paper and to Ethan.

"Can I"
I began,
"Can I maybe sleep on it? And decide in the morning?"

Ethan sat down next to me, "I don't make exceptions..."

"Then it's time for a change."

I said upbeat.

"Where can I sleep?"

I feel like some light smut would fit in this story but I'm such an awkward kid lmao. I'll try though.
