☆~The Game: Ash X Serena~☆

Chapter 3

I wake up to see Fennekin beside me sound asleep so I quietly sneak in to my bathroom then I brush my teeth and take a shower. I get changed into my most comfortable outfits.

"Fennekin!"

I look behind  me to see Fennekin smiling at me i return the smile. I pick her up and pet her a few times then head downstairs with her still in my arms.

I see Karena blushing "Hey Karena" she snaps out of her daze and looks and me with a blank look "Hi"

Wow what's up with her today? "Hey you alright? You seem out of it" she sighs "Ok, I'll tell you as long as you don't tell anyone"

I nod *Sigh "Well a guy I have been dating for about a year now proposed to me"

"WHAT?!"

"Shhhhhhh! I can't have mom know not yet"
I nod "Congratulations Though! It's awesome you've found someone you love!"

She Blushes "Thanks Sis, I really appreciate it. I love him I really do, but I just felt bad telling you since your contest thing is today"

Oh Shoot I completely forgot Thanks for Reminding me Karena I thought sarcastically.

"Yeah, Even though I truly appreciate you telling me I'm sure you two are going to have a amazing life together."

She smiles. Mom then walked in "Alright Serena! Today's the beginning of the contest! So you need to have a filling and scrumptious breakfast!" I laugh "Whatever you say captain" Karena laughs at my joke.

At the town square (Area where the contest is held)

"Alright Serena Yvonne your next!"
The loud speaker said. I walked to the building where the queen was.

Apparently for the begging you meet the queen and she asks you a few questions. I open the the door and I see her sitting in a type of throne-ish chair.

"Please sit my dear" She points at the seat in front of her. I nod and sit down. I watch her as she seems to scan my body. I smile at her, she stops then she starts up a conversation.

"Your Serena Yvonne right?"

"Serena is fine your majesty"

"Oh you don't need to prompt me as so call me Bella Sweetheart"

I smile (She's so nice)
"So Serena I saw your concert last night. You played beautifully"

"Thank you Bella, your sister Isabella has taught me ever since I was 10"
Her eyes widen at this comment "Since you were 10? That means you've known my sister for 7 years"

"Yeah, she's like a second mother to me" I smile thinking of all the times I've had with Isabella. Bella gives me a huge smile "Well I hope I can be a mother to you to"

I look at her speechless "What do you me-
One of the queens servants comes in "Your majesty it's time for you to speak to the next girl" Bella nods

"Alright send her in" Bella turns to me "I was happy to speak to you today. The results shall be announced tomorrow here in the town square so be sure to be there"

I stand up and head toward the door and turn around then I give Bella a bright smile and walk out.

I'm greeted by my mom "So? How'd it go?"
"I don't know, I guess we'll find out tomorrow" I say heading towards our house.

My mom makes a little pout wishing I would tell her more but let it go a second later. "Alright then Honey lets go"

I pick up Fennekin and pet her she gives me coos of delight. I smile at her "We'll do this for everyone" I say at a whisper so only Fennekin could hear.

Fennekin determinately nods then goes back to cooing. I hold her tight all the way home.
