The next few days carried on like normal, besides the fact that everyone was hanging out together. Ever since Cammie and Victoria made amends, they'd been inseparable.
Currently, all four girls were out shopping together and the guys were chilling at home.
"Okay Zion, we know that Lo is your girl and everything, but are you ever going to make it official?" Sam asked out of the blue, picking up a chicken wing from the plate of food they had made for themselves.
The brothers nodded in agreement. "I mean, cuffing season is soon over, but, she's a girl that you need to lock down." Derek spoke, nodding his head at his own advice while he stared in the fridge looking for something to drink. Dom joined in too. "I know you see the niggas that stare at her whenever we go out, because I know she sees them too; that's why she be all up on you in public, because she be showing them that she want you."
"Here y'all go again, being all philosophical and delivering your insight to the female brain and mechanisms. I know allat, okay?" Sam chuckled. "If you know, then why don't you do something about it? I know she waitin' for you to." Zion raised his eyebrows at the oldest roommate, catching an attitude. "How do you know what she's waiting on?"
At this, Sam rolled his eyes as he shook his head slowly. "Nigga, get the fuck on somewhere, it's obvious. And she tells me these things because she wants a dude perspective on it. Victoria just tell her the same things she's thinking." Zion groaned out in annoyance. "What you tell her then? Because I know for a damn fact you don't know what I'm doing, or why I'm doing it."
"Tell us then. Enlighten us on what you're doing and why." Derek spoke, smirking at the look on Zion's face, who sighed.
"I- I don't want to get deep into this thing, go as far as calling her my girlfriend, and something happens and it all goes to shit. Okay? I'm scared...." Zion said quietly, looking down in shame. The other three guys looked at him, then at each other, and the brothers gestured to Sam to say something, who looked fed up.
"Okay, I understand that. But this is something y'all should talk about, 'cuz it ain't fair that you got her wanting you, and you know she want more with you, and you not doing nothing about it." Zion nodded, looking up at his friends with a sad expression on his face.
"I don't want to lose her, but I want to protect my heart too, you know?" Before anything else could be said, a knock on the door rang through the apartment. "It's probably the girls," Sam spoke as Dom got up to answer it, coming to face a man who looked just as surprised to see him.
"Uh, can I help you?" Dom asked, his face twisting up in confusion. The man nodded before shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "Yeah, uh, I'm here to see Jessica? Is she here?" The stranger asked, looking behind the man in front of him and eyeing the other three in the apartment. "She'll be back soon, I guess you can come in and wait for her." Dom spoke as he moved aside to let the guy in.
