"Ben?" I called. "Ben is that you? Oh." I sighed in relief. "Ben don't scare us like that." "Don't scare ya?" A voice said, and on the Isle only a few people have that kind of voice. "That's my specialty." Harry Hook stepped into the light like a actor on cue. "What did you do to Ben?" I half asked half demanded. "Oh, we nicked him. Did you need him for anything?" Harry seemed quite pleased with himself . "Cuz if ya do, tell Mal to meet Uma at the fish and chip shop. Tonight. ALONE." He looked almost pointedly at each of us. And then promptly left.
"What do we do now? We've lost Ben, Mal's probably not gonna want to see us any time soon and now Uma's involved." Carlos said horror and panic clearly written across his face. "Well we can wait for Mal to calm down from talk with Ben, but she might get even more annoyed if we withheld information like this from her for any amount of time. We could also barge in on her and face double the wrath that we would have gotten with the first option because we first barged in on he probably crying and then she find out that Ben is gone." I stated "Well if you put it that way I think we should stick to the second option." Said Jay. So we waited. And waited. And waited as we heard scuffles from the apartments that was our hangout. Then finally it stopped. "You think it shoud be safe?" Carlos joked. I wiped him lightly on the arm. "Yeah" I said.
We carefully made our way up stairs, soom catching sight of purple locks as they swing around mal as she works on a new masterpiece. "Mal?" I say carefully not to trigger any alarm systems that might be placed mentally in her head. "Evie?" She said with a distinct note of surprise in her voice. "What the hell are you doing here!" She said " You guy were supposed to stay in Aurdon. Not show up here with Ben." "About that, um, well, you see, the point is..." Carlos trailed of as Mal's face turned from a look of shock to a look of horror to a look of extreme annoyance. "Jay! Why don't you tell Mal." Carlos said quickly. "What I'm not saying it you say it" jay shot back. Before either of them could go on Mal interrupted. "Would someone please tell me what's going on."" Well" "Um" " Ugh you guys are supposed to be and this is the direct quote from jay "big boy who aren't afraid of anything" Mal Ben got captured by Uma and now you half to go an rescue him!" I said without thinking.
