"H-hi," She weakly stuttered, looking at the four young people, emotionlessly staring right back at her, none of them uttering a single word.

This is so awkward...

She mentally muttered, lowering her eyes on the hard wooden floor, not able to look anymore at the four people staring at her so goddamn weird.

"Ookay..." Richard quickly decided to break the awkward silence, giving the girl another warm smile,
"Karen will be here shortly to escort you to your room.
You can start tomorrow morning." He informed, gently touching her small shoulder.

"Thank you." She quietly answered, letting out a small breath of relief.

Her phone rang a few times, making her rise back up in a sitting position on the soft bed, and as soon as she saw the caller's ID on the phone's screen, a small smile appeared on her lips, swiping to answer.

"Hi hon."

"Oh hey, Christina." She answered back to her friend, still smiling.

"So how's in the creepy mansion?"

"It's been ok, so far.
Though I have to tell you, I think all these people here need some therapy." She explained, with a slight trace of amusement laced in her tone.

"Hah! Tell me all about it."

"Well, Mr. Reinhardt is kinda nice...But you should totally see his sons...As hansdome as they could look -especially the youngest one-" Before she could say anything more, the girl on the other end suddenly interrupted her,

"Wait what? Are you telling me that you actually like that creep? Have you not seen the way he stares at people?"

She was right. This family was relatively famous, and they had a very large company, so their faces were kinda well-known all over the town, and also displayed quite often on TV and bilboards. But every time that guy came into picture, he always seemed to carry with him a very dark, intimidating aura.

"Eww no! Stop! I don't like him!" She practically yelled at the phone, letting out a small laugh and also making a very displeased grimace, as if the girl at the other end could've actually seen her.

"I was just saying that they all inherited beautiful features, you know," She then calmly explained, falling back on the bed, casually staring at the ceiling, with her long, slender legs dangling in the air.

"Yeah, right.
But you better watch out though. There are rumors that he actually killed someone."

"Yea whatever." She absently answered, rolling her eyes.
Though there had actually been rumors about the youngest boy in Reinhardt family killing some teenage girl, under totally unknown circumstances, she knew those were just some crazy reporter's stupid rants.

"Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that they all seem to have their own weird...issues, you know?" She then explained, remembering every single one of them's faces.

"Weirdos."

"Yeah, haha," She laughed at her friend's snarky comment, then rolled over her stomach, letting out a small yawn.
"Ok, talk to you later, Chris." She sweetly said, followed by her friend's answer,

"Ok, night babe."

"Night."

What she didn't know, was that all their conversation has been overheard, and someone was definitely bothered by now.
