I woke up to Mike shaking me. "Come on sunshine. School will be starting soon."
"No...I don't wanna get up, Mike!" I mumbled and rolled over.
I heard foot steps coming toward me. The light turned on blinding me.
"You need to get up now. Father is coming!" Mike whisper yelled.
I sat up and threw the covers off me.I put on some skinny jeans and a cute, comfortable shirt. 'Father' came through my door. He looked me over once, nodded and left. I picked up my brush and started brushing through my butt long hair.
"Mike!" I hollered.
"Yes? "
"Are you going to walk me to school?" I asked.
"Of course. As you know, though, I don't go anymore."
"I know. I know." I smiled and put my hair up.
"You need to cut your hair soon."
"What!? Why!?" I screeched.
He was about to answer, I cut him off, "No it doesn't matter! I'm not cutting my hair. "
"Okay have it your way, bae." he laughed as he walked out with me jogging behind him.
"The school isn't that far away." He said as we started to cross the road.
I heard tired screeching and a horn honking. I looked up to see a ??? speeding at me. I froze in my tracks. Mike wasn't paying attention and had already crossed the street without me. I felt like a deer in headlights, which I kinda was now. I screamed.
I felt air moving around me. I was sure I was right in front of the mustang five seconds ago. The mustang stopped were I just was. Mike ran over to me and was talking - no yelling at me. He driver, who was a girl, ran over too. I looked down at them....Wait what!? I snapped out of my daze I was at least a good five feet above them.
As soon as I snapped out of my daze I started falling. Mike caught me, I looked at him.
"What the hell was that!?" he screamed.
"I don't know!!" I yelled back.
"Dude that was so cool!! I got it on video! I'm so posting it!" she screamed as she jumped up and down. She was typing so fast. She looked up and smiled. "I'm Becca. Becca Stars. You my flying friend are going to be famous at school now."
'oh Yay! I'm so happy.' I thought bitterly.
