Kira's POV

"Listen. To. Me. Kira. Nowwww!!!!" Uh oh... I must have fallen asleep again... Honestly I didn't want to hear about her childhood nonsense. I just wanted to sleep :( But she wouldn't let me. Abby was planning on telling me about her whole life in Pennsylvania and all the people she met, dated, broke up with...

"Why don't you settle with one guy and be done with?" She pouted, widened her puppy dog eyes and batted her eyelashes, oblivious to the fact that this did not work on me. I bit back a laugh and debated on whether or not to listen to the stories behind her crazy af relationships... I yanked the hoodie over my head and pulled the strings to muffle out her voice.

"No! Let me sleep for this last hour!" I glanced up and saw her cringe before pouting miserably. Seriously!? Why did she still hate the clothes I wore?! What the hell did she have against the colour black?!

I vaguely remembered her telling me that I hid myself under the black and prevented the world from seeing the beautiful side of me. I punched her on the arm then... Not hard enough to bruise or hurt that much but it still shut her up. Abby's eyes bulged at the impact and her mouth hung open in a way that looked like she disconnected her jaw. I laughed so much that my sides hurt and since the look on her face was utterly priceless, I had decided to capture that moment forever...

My eyes softened at the memory and I decided to give in - just this once - to the torture of her tales. However, I just had to remind her of that of that precious memory. Abby squeaked crazily and tried to snatch away my phone but eventually gave up and covered her face with her hands. I observed a blush creeping up her neck and down the tips of her ears.

"How do you still have that picture...?" Her voice was barely audible because her hands were covering her face but I understood and grinned evilly.

"Whyyy?... Is there a reason I shouldn't have it?" Her blush deepened and I knew she remembered.

Abby's POV

Oh noooo... Shit! Why the hell did she have to bring that up?!... I thought she had forgiven me :( What had happened that day was not my fault! I remember what happened very clearly though she may not...

I could see her phone on her desk and I knew that if I didn't do it now, I would chicken out and she would have that stupid photo forever. Kira was downstairs getting snacks from the kitchen for our weekly movie night sleepover. It had been our crazy tradition for over five years now. We'd stay up all night watching movies and then gossiping... Well I'd be doing all the gossiping... Kira usually just listened. She once told me that there was no boys or parties in her life and that it was more boring than watching paint dry.

I snatched her phone from the desk and hopped back onto the bed, pushed down the gnawing guilt that threatened to consume me and swiped the screen... Damn! She had one of those 9-dots keypad thingies where you had to draw a symbol to unlock it. How the hell was I going to get into the phone?! I swiped randomly hoping luck was on my side today...

Nope. It. Was. Not! :(

I decided to type the letters of the alphabet. A... No, B... Nope, C... Nooo, D... AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! This was gonna take forever but it had to wait since I could here Kira coming back up the stairs. I was desperate to get rid of that damned photo so instead of putting the phone back in its place, I shoved it into the back pocket of my jeans and ran out of her bedroom into the bathroom.

"Abby, are you okay... I hav-" I didn't hear the rest of what she said because I slammed the door shut and locked it. I pulled out the phone and resumed drawing the letters of the alphabet but i wasn't expecting someone to knock on the door so i was surprised... When I heard Kira's voice... I panicked. My hands trembled as I tried to hide the phone but I tripped on the bathroom mat and the phone flew from my hands, landing in the toilet with a splash...

Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!Shit! Shit!Shit! Shit!Shit! Shit! She was gonna kill me...

"OMG! Are you alright?!" Kira's head popped out from behind the door and her eyes met mine with an expression of concern.

"Ahh... Umm... Well... Uh... You see... I... Uhh..." She offered me her hand and pulled me up, her eyes glinting in amusement.

"If you're okay... Would you like to tell me why you took my phone to the bathroom with you?... "

"Yeah... I'm sorry... It's kinda dead..." I mumbled, hiding the blush creeping up my neck, "I... Uh... Dropped it in the toilet..." The amused expression on Kira's face vanished and her eyes hardened.

"You... What?!?!"

"Fine!! Go to sleep!!" I shouted but when I looked at her, I saw a blown up red tomato who trying to hold in a laugh, with her phone in her hand and the camera focused on me. I fumed but somehow managed to keep it bottled as I huffed, "Damn you, Kira! Just let it go already!"

She laughed openly, cackling like a maniac, as tears of delight streamed down her cheeks and she pulled me into a side hug and whispered into my ear, "Another precious memory to hold against you..."

I couldn't help but smile :))
