Jamals POV
As Angel and I talk, I was praying in the back of my head that our performance would go well today. My niece, Bree, Is with mom and dad. So Angel and I are practicing a little bit before the streaming channel begins. After the practice we had yesterday, We're going to need a damn miracle. And we're having the performance at my place.
Me: So where's Hakeem?
Angel shrugs her shoulders
Angel: I don't know some damn where... He wasn't by me when I woke up this morning
I laugh as my sister looks at me
Me: *Laughs* You're his wife, How in the hell you don't know where your husband is?
Angel: *Smiles* Correction sister wife and I don't know hell
We laugh. Hakeem walks in and kisses Angel on the cheek. She smiles and hugs him.
Hakeem: Hey baby
Angel: *smiling* hey
Me: *chuckles* Alright alright... let's get started, I don't want to so no more damn lovey dovey crap from y'all today
Angel and Hakeem laughs because they know I'm right. Our parents come in along with Bree, Andre, And... Nessa?! What the hell is he thinking bringing her here?! Does he not know our sister will kill her ass?!
Angels POV
I look at Andre for a moment. Why the hell did he bring Nessa?! I was going to say something, But Hakeem holds my hand. He pulls me to a corner and stands in front of me, So no one notices I'm upset as they go sit down. Hakeem leans towards my ear
Hakeem: *Whispers* I understand you don't like her ass and everything... But just calm down baby
I look at Hakeem, Then I look over at Andre and Nesssa. But he's right. I take a deep breath.
Me: Fine *looks up at him*
Hakeem grabs my chin gently to make sure I understand every single word that he's telling me.
Hakeem: Just chill alright *kisses me*
Me: Ok baby
I kiss Hakeem back and we walk back over to everyone else.
Lucious: You three ready?
Jamal: Yeah
Me: Mhm
Hakeem: *nods* yeah
Cookie: *smiles* ok *goes sit down with Bree in her lap*
Jamal stands in front of the camera
Jamal: *Smiles* What's up everybody it's your boy, Jamal Lyon I want to say thank you so much for tuning in.. We are all the way live on Empire X stream, *points to Hakeem and I* That's my baby sister Angel and my baby brother Hakeem.. We're truly here with love and life. So for all of y'all this is for you.
*the music starts* [Verse 1: Jamal]
