*3 Months Later*

Angels POV

It's been three months since the accident at Leviticus, And dads been in a coma ever since then. Mom, Jamal, Andre, Hakeem, Bree and I have stayed by side since then. As we all sit in the hospital room, I could only wonder who would do this to dad. As I lay my head on Hakeems shoulder, I feel Bree tug on the sleeve of my top.

Me: Yes baby? *looks at her*

Bree: When is grandpa going to wake up?

Hakeem: We don't know yet princess *kisses her head*

Hakeem kisses my head and squeezes my hand as we sit together. I look over at our mom sitting next to dads bed, As Jamal held her hand and Andre leans on the wall. It's so quiet, That you could hear a pen drop.

Jamal: I can't believe he's been like this for three months

Cookie sighs

Cookie: Neither can I, I thought he would've woken up by now or sooner

Andre: So did I

We all sat hoping and praying that dad would wake up soon. After an hour or so, We heard dad groan and slightly open his eyes. We all rushed to his side to check on him.

Me: Hey dad *smiles*

Hakeem: Dad you alright?

Jamal: Dad how are you feeling?

Cookie: Lucious? Can you hear me? *holds his hand*

Andre: I'll go and get the nurse *leaves*

As Andre went to go get the nurse, My dad looks at us in a daze and confusion.

Lucious: Who are you? *looks at us*

My mom, Jamal, Hakeem, and I look at each other

Cookie: It's Cookie... Lucious don't you remember me?

Me: Oh damn, Mom I think he's out of it *looks at him*

Hakeem: Agreed

Jamal: I second that

Andre returns with the nurse. She starts checking dads eyes and his pulse. As we looked on, I could see mom was getting a little jealous on how the nurse was touching him. She didn't like that at all

Cookie: Well?

Nurse: Mr, Lyon here is suffering from Amnesia

My brothers and I look at each other as she continues to check dads pupils. Amnesia?  I really wasn't expecting this to happen to my dad, The great Lucious Lyon. Usually he makes it through everything, Guess this isn't one of those times.

Me: Do you know how long he will have it? *looks at the nurse*

Everyone turn their attention to the nurse. She shrugs her shoulders.

Nurse: Who knows it might be a while or long term *walks out*

We all sit down and comprehend with the dads memory loss. Hakeem sighs

Hakeem: So what now? *looks at Cookie*

Jamal: Yeah mom there's gotta be something we could do

Me: And dad is completely out of it

I look over at Bree laying on dads chest asleep as he too is fast asleep. Our mother rubs her temples and looks back at my brothers and I.

Cookie: Andre

Andre: Yes mom?

Cookie: You probably have to keep your position for a while, With my help

Andre nods

Hakeem: And us? *holds my hand*

I looked at my mom as she stood there quiet.

Me: Mom?

My mom looked back up at us and smiled a little as she comes up to us

Cookie: You three are going to continue producing music and we're going to get through this *puts a hand on Jamals shoulder* Because we're Lyons and Lyons don't back down.. They rise

Jamal: Right

My mom looks at Hakeem and I

Cookie: Right you two?

Hakeem: *nods* Right

Cookie: Angel

I look at my dad then back at my mom. And she's right, We can't let something like this stop our family empire. I nod my head.

Me: Right

Cookie: *smiles* That's my girl

I smile back at her and look at my dad again. I pray things will get better for him soon
