Hakeems POV

We're on our way to Empire, Because mom said she has something she wants to talk to us about.

Angel: What did mom want? *looks at me*

I shrug my shoulders as I drive

Me: She didn't tell me bae

I pull up to Empire. We get out and I pick up Bree and hold Angels hand and walk inside.

Angel: So she just told us to come?

I nodded

Me: Yeah

We get our moms office and we see our brothers standing outside of it already. Jamal has his ear to the door as Andre stands there.

Me: She wanted y'all too?

Andre nods

Andre: Yeah... She's in there talking to Angelo right now

Jamal: And mom doesn't sound too happy *smiling*

Angel and Bree put their ear to the door. It can't be that serious. I look at the girls and Jamal as they listen to the Conversation on the other side of the door.

Bree: Grandma sounds mad

Angel: Angelo sounds pissed *smiles*

Me: Why the hell are y'all eavesdropping? *raises eyebrow*

The girls and Jamal look at me

Jamal: Like you haven't done the sh*t before *raises his eyebrow at me*

Angel: I mean if she breaking up with him, I need to hear this

She has a point. I pick Bree up and put my ear against the door. Andre shakes his head.

Andre: You guys should just wait *leans on the wall*

Cookies POV

After a lot of thinking, I decided to call things off with Angelo. And his ass is not too happy about it either.

Angelo: What why do you wanna break up?!

Me: I just think... I still have feelings for Lucious

Angelo stands and pushes the objects off my table. Ok one thing you not finna do is mess up my damn office. He looks at me.

Angelo: You know what... My mother was right about you

Me: Does it look like a give a damn... Now you can see your way out of my office *smirks*

Angelo walks to the door and looks at me.

Angelo: *frowns* You're making a big mistake Cookie

I sigh and open the door for him.

Me: Goodbye Angelo

Angelo walks out pissed. I lean on the door frame as I look at my children.

Jamal: Mom what happened?

Me: We broke up *crosses my arms*

Andre: Really?

I nod

Hakeem: Good riddance

Angel: Goodbye Dubois ... *smiles* I'm happy you two broke up mom, I just didn't think he was right for you

I smile and hug all my children and grand child.

Me: And besides his mama is too stuck up for this family

Jamal and Angel laugh.

Me: Btw we're all having dinner at your fathers house tomorrow

Angelos POV

I can't believe she just dumped like that. And for  her ex husband, Lucious Lyon?! I'm with my mother having tea and telling her what happened.

Ms. Dubois: So you guys broke up?

I nod

Me: Yeah... And I lost my campaign thanks to Lucious *buries my face in my hands* 

Ms. Dubois: Well if it wasn't for the hood rat... You would've won Angelo

My mother sips her tea as I look up at her.

Me: So what now?

Ms. Dubois: Let me take care of everything sweetie *smiles*

I raise an eyebrow. She takes another sip of her tea before she spoke.

Ms.Dubois: The Lyons are going to wish they never crossed us...We'll just fight fire with fire

What doe Ms.Dubois have planned for the Lyons?
