"I'm just trying to get my mind off of things"Piper sighed looking at Ryder hugged up with another girl. That's how it was with them. He could be with any girl while they are dating, but she's not aloud to do anything.
"Leave him"He replied as he wiped down the counter. Piper shook her head.
"Oh so you won't me to go with you or something?"Piper asked placing her drink down and resting her aching head.
"I'm gay honey, I like boys. No offense you are beautiful, I'm mean you are the Piper Davis. Can't you get any man you want?"
"I'm hard to please. Not just anyone can easily win me over"
"Then why does he have you?"He asked while tossing the towel that laid across his shoulder and rested his head on his hand.
"I'm scared."Piper admitted while shaking her head. "Stop I don't want to get into this"
"I'm sorry. By the way I'm Bretman"
"You know who I am. Can I actually get your number? You are very easy to talk to"Piper smiled.
"Is it because I'm gay?"He joked.
"Oh no trust me. I have very to no friends. I just need to expand my friend circle"Piper chuckled handing him the phone. Bretman typed in his number giving Piper back his phone.

Piper looked around her house looking at the little things that reminded her of Josh. She wanted him bad, like he was her oxygen to breathe. Going to her jewelry box she picked up the heart shaped ring and looking at it.
"Hey"Ryder spoke causing Piper to quickly slip it on her finger.
"Hey. Where are you going now? And how did you get in my house?"Piper chuckled.
"You leave the keys wide open. I'm going to Tracy's"Ryder nodded. Piper felt a pang in her heart.
Ryder always went to Tracy's, she knew he was meeting up with some girl, one day she caught him, but let him continue on. Piper didn't have the strength. Ryder left out.

Bretman was dressed in ripped high waisted black jeans and a white Adidas shirt with a snap back holding back his brown hair. Piper walked aside of him. Josh was really showing the real him.
"So why don't you dress up like this at the bar?"Piper asked while they looked around in sephora.
"Because you know how some people are with guys and wearing make up and me being gay. Something happened once and I just don't want to go down that path again"
"I understand"Piper nodded soon stopping once she saw him with another girl. It felt like her heart stop, soon those butterflies growing in her stomach. "Josh"She mumbled.
She tried her hardest too look away, but she couldn't. Soon Bretman tapped her with a small laugh.
"That's Josh right?"He asked. Piper nodded.
"I'm fine. Let's just get this pallet you claim like is this best. Also I need a knew brush set"Piper changed the subject quickly walking to a different section. Her mind couldn't help but drifting back to him.
"Okay you need this brush set and here's the pallet"Bretman smiled handing piper the pallet of full dark colors.
Piper opened it up with a smile.
"Now I have things to match my lipstick with. Thanks hoe"Piper smiled going to the check out line.
She glanced over staring at Josh and this other girl smiling. Piper soon felt like it was a part in her heat missing without him. She looked down at the ring she put on earlier.
"I'm ready to take the next person"The lady smiled. Piper nodded placing her things on the counter. She then pulled out her black card swiping it and grabbing her stuff.
"What's wrong honey?"Bretman ask while they walked out.
"I thought I was over Josh. But I guess I'm not. I still love him"Piper sighed softly as they both sat down on the bench.
"I know how you feel. I was once in love you can say. Even though he was married to a woman, I wanted to be with him so bad"Bretman explained.
"So then what happened?"
"Bitch I stole him back the fuck?"Bretman laughed. Piper rolled her eyes jokingly. Bretman laughed. "But really, if you love him, go for him. Love doesn't need to be pushed aside"
Piper nodded.
"He gave me this ring."Piper said out of no where admiring the heart ring. Bretman eyes went wide.
"He proposed?"
"No, it's a ring that he gave me after he did something. But I keep in reminder of our love. I stopped wearing it for months but put it back on today"
"Girl you betta put it on that left hand and rock that shit like your married."Bretman laughed. Piper rolled her eyes again.
"Hey Piper"Josh smiled. Piper looked up and smiled.
"H-hi Josh"Piper nervously said. After they've been together for a year, and she got super comfortable with him, yet she still doesn't know why she's getting nervous.
"Aliyah's been asking about you. Maybe one day you can see her?"Josh asked. Piper nodded. "I'll catch you later"

Josh walked away with the chick on his arm. Piper sighed resting her head on his shoulder.
"Fuck"Piper mumbled standing up and walking in the opposite direction.
Bretman followed after. Piper needed to get Josh out her head quick. It was as must.
