Chapter 4: New Hero

Ladybug and Chat Noir jumped over rooftops, quickly getting to Master Fu's workshop.

"Master Fu! We have news." Ladybug said, entering the building.

"Ladybug. Chat Noir. What brings you here?" Master Fu asked.

"Dark Shadow." Chat said.

"... *blinks in confusion* um..."

"Hawkmoth has a new partner. Dark Shadow." Ladybug explained.

"Hmm... I thought this day would never come... a few years ago, after you discovered the miraculouses, Hawkmoth would lest likely get a partner. If he does, then Paris would be in certain doom."

Ladybug's and Chat's eyes widen.

"That is.. unless there was a new hero. It's simple. New villain, New Hero."

"So... who would be the new hero?" Chat Noir asked.

"I think I know just the person." Ladybug said.

"Excellent! Take this." Master Fu gave her a miraculous. "Give that person this."

"Will do, Master. Bye!" Ladybug said, before jumping out of the building with Chat Noir.

--with Chloe--

"Sabrina, mom and dad are not home. They went to get some things for Jackson and Jason." Chloe said, talking on her phone.

"Can't you call them?" Sabrina said.

Just then, Marinette came in.

"Oh. Never mind. Marinette just came home. I'll talk to you later. Bye." Chloe hung up. "Marinette, Jason has a fever."

"Um... oh! Mom has some medicine in the cabinet above the stove. But Chloe, I wanted to give you this." Marinette said, giving her a black and red box.

"What is it?"

"Why don't you find out?"

Chloe looked at Marinette. Then at the box. She opened it. It showed a yellow hair comb, in the shape of a bee. A yellow ball appeared on top of it.

It faded away and revealed a small yellow kwami.

"Chloe, this is Pollen. She's your personal kwami." Marinette explained.

"Hi Chloe! I have heard some very nice things about you! It's very nice to meet you!" Pollen exclaimed, doing a loop.

"It's nice to meet you too, Pollen. But um... why?" Chloe asked.

"Chloe, Hawkmoth has a new partner. And he's way too powerful for Chat Noir and I to defeat. We need your help." Marinette explained. "Are you in?"

"... I'm in."

Aaand that's the end of this chapter.
