Chapter 6: He's back

BOOM!!!

Marinette and Adrien rushed to the rooftop.

They see a silhouette, jumping on a roof a few houses away from them. It showed a figure. A few blue lines, circled around the figure.

"Oh no..."

"It can't be..."

"I'm back Paris!"

Adrien and Marinette rushed downstairs. They grabbed two bags of clothes from under their bed. Marinette took up Emma and Adrien picked Hugo. Adrien grabbed the keys for their van and they hurriedly hopped in the van.

Adrien drove to Master Fu's workshop.

"....weeks, you will be healed up fully." Master Fu said, as the family enters the room.

"Thank you Fu." A man said, leaving the room.

"So. Marinette, Adrien, Emma and Hugo. How has your vacation going?" Master Fu asked.

"Hello old man! Do you have any cookies?" Hugo asked, running up to Master Fu.

He stood silent.

"...I suppose something has made Hugo talk fluently." Master Fu said.

"That's not all."

"Dark Shadow broke out of prison."

"I know. It was all on the news."

"So what do we do? He looks more powerful than ever!"

"There could be a chance where he knows your identities. He could trank you and your family down."

"Mommy! Dark Shadow is my friend!" Emma tugged on Marinette's hand.

"And mine too!" Hugo said.

Marinette picked Emma.

"Emma honey... Dark Shadow is a bad bad baddie. He tried to kill mommy and daddy before you were born." Marinette hugged her daughter.

(Just pretend he almost did that :P)

"He's the baddie? What about you? You hid yours and daddy's secret from your own children!" Hugo said.

"Because you could spill it without even knowing! It would have caused you to be in danger since Dark Shadow broke out." Adrien said.

"Calm down everyone. Now is not the time to be having a family argument. A dangerous criminal is on the loose and he has a lot of powerful gadgets and powers. We need a plan." Master Fu said.

"Well... what about Plagg and Tikki?" Marinette suggested.

"Oh! I have upgraded them. They have now ten minutes before detransformation and two cataclysms and lucky charms. As for Pollen, the same quantity." Master Fu Said.

Tikki, Plagg and Pollen came flying out of the little black and red box.

"Marinette!" Tikki yelled.

"Adrien!" Plagg yelled.

The two kwamis flew to their rightful owner.

"Tikki! Plagg!" Adrien and Marinette chimed.

"Oh Marinette I have missed you so much!" You think Tikki said.

But Plagg said it.

"Haha it's good to see you too Plagg. Still cute as always." Marinette rubber her index finger on Plagg's little head.

Plagg got red.

"Dont plan on stealing my wife, Plagg." Adrien said.

"That won't happen." Tikki hugged Marinette's finger as she giggled.

"Haha I miss you so much Tikki!"

Soon, there was an explosion above them.

"Adrien and Marinette ducked over Emma and Hugo, protecting them from the rubble. Soon there was a massive hole in the roof.

"Hello... 'friends'." Dark Shadow said, jumping down in the workshop.

"Um... who are you?" Marinette asked.

"Don't be stupid, Ladybug. You know exactly who I am. "

"No one talks to my wife like that!" Adrien shot.

Marinette picked up Emma.

"So Dark Shadow. Long time no see. How was prison?" She asked.

Adrien looked perplexed.

Marinette winked at him. Adrien understood and picked up Hugo.

"Ugh. Terrible. It was so frustrating." Dark Shadow said.

Adrien put his hand in his pocket, making sure the car keys are still there.

"Really? What happened?"

"Blah blah blah..." Dark Shadow went rambling about how terrible prison was.

"Yeah yeah great." Marinette said.

"...what do you mean by 'great'?" Dark Shadow asked.

"I mean it's great that we can kick your butt again. Marinette smiled.

Dark Shadow looked around the room, realizing Marinette, Emma and himself were the only ones there.

"What the--"

"Sorry not sorry! Gotta split!" Marinette said as she ran outside.

Dark Shadow didn't care about them. The main goal was to get the remaining miraculouses.

The red and black box sat there, on the table.

Dark Shadow took the box and tried to open it. He didn't want to use his limited power on something that is too easy to get.

He used a screw driver and pryed it open.

"Finally... the unlimited power of..." his voice faded as he opened the box.

"...Nothingness?!?!"

"Spots on!"
"Claws out!"

"WHAT?!?!?!?!" Dark Shadow raged.

While Marinette was distracting Dark Shadow, master Fu took the miraculouses.
He went out to give the remaining miraculouses to other people.

Meanwhile, Ladybug and Chat Noir were securing their kids while jumping from roof to roof.

They were heading to Chloe and Nathaniel's house.

"Chloe!" Ladybug yelled.

"Hm? Ladybug?!" Chloe said as she came out with Nathaniel.

"Ladybug? Chat Noir?" Nathaniel said.

"Come on. We need your help. But can Nathaniel do a bit of babysitting?" Ladybug asked.

"Emma? Hugo?" Nathaniel was confused at this point.

"We'll explain when I come back." Chloe said. "Pollen, stripes on!"

Ladybug, Chat Noir and Queen B left confused Nathaniel with Nathan, Hugo and Emma.

While they were jumping across the rooftops, a blue beam shot between Ladybug and Queen B.

"Its one powerful being against three weaklings." Dark Shadow said.

"Its on, Shadow."
