Ruby's salon

Chapter 2

I taught about his offer, would I really be able to leave the shop I've build from scratch?. But this was a lifetime opportunity! I need time to think. So I asked him "um could I think about it and maybe get to you?". " Sure love, I can give you to the end of this week" he said with his dazzling smile.

We exchanged numbers and he then left, I watched as he put his hood over his head and some black shades on to mask his identity. As soon as he was out of sight I ran to the phone to ring my best friend Sophie. After I filled her in she practically yelled " ARE YOU CRAZY?? TAKE THE OFFER!" I laughed at her.

"Sophie I'm as crazy about him as you!, but I don't know if I can up and leave my salon that took me a lot or hard work to achieve" I sigh. "I guess you're right, but I could always cover for you with Tara" she said excitedly "You would do that for me?" I asked touched. "That's what friend's are for silly" she laughed " you're the best I will pay you back though" I said with a huge smile on my face.

After a few more minutes of catching up we agreed we'd meet up some day this week. I had a few more customer's and then closed for the day. I realised I had to take this offer it could earn me more money, I get to be close to the Louis Tomlinson and it would be an asset to my career.

I took out my phone and rang Louis "Hello?" His deep voice answered making me nervous "um hi, it's Ruby from the salon" I said in a hushed voice. "Oh hey love did you think about my offer?" I shook my head before realising you can't see me "uh, yes I would um, like to accept". "Brilliant they'll be a car waiting for you at 10:00am Friday morning" he said cheerfully "Ok great thanks" I said happily. "No problem see you soon,bye" and with that the call ended.

I made it home and laid down on my couch and started thinking about packing I barely had any clothes. I decided I would go buy some things tomorrow and with that final taught I fell asleep

The next morning I went into town, I bought some skirt's, dresses and a few pairs of shoes. I then called Sophie to see if she wanted to meet for some coffee, she agreed and within ten minutes she was taking her seat across from me. "So did you take the offer?" She asked containing her excitement as to not make a scene. "Yes, I think it will benefit my salon and bring in more customer's" she raised her brow "That's all" she said smirking.

"He's my employer Sophie" I almost yelled turning red, she just waved it off and laughed at my attitude towards it. "But seriously Sophie I need this job and I don't want to ruin my chances" I said honesty and she agreed. We left the café and she wanted to come help me pack as we walked in the door I saw a letter on the floor. I picked it up and opened it it read

" Hey love, I didn't get a chance to give   the the specifics of the offer, you will come on the tour for three month's. In this time we will be touring so you will either be sleeping on the tour bus with me and the team or in a hotel with you're own room. I need you in the morning from 8:30am till 11:30am and then again in the afternoon from 2:00pm till 5:00pm. You will be apart of my team and considered as a close friend.

Sophie squealed reading the note over my shoulder " you're going to be a close friend of Louis Tomlinson she said excitedly jumping up and down. I laughed at her childishness considering were both in our twentyfold, "I guess so" I said unsure of how to feel. After Sophie helped me pack she told me she had to go and she would be over tomorrow since it's my last day before I leave.

I lay on my bed thinking about leaving and a smile came to my face before I fell asleep. The next morning I got up had a shower, brushed my teeth and put on a nice blue knee high dress and I decided to let my hair stay naturally wavy. Sophie text saying she was picking me up for breakfast, we went to this little café in town. Afterwards I went home to clean my apartment and Sophie decided she would live there while I was away.

After I had cleaned the apartment Sophie had brought her suitcases and dinner for us. After I helped her unpack we decided to go to bed. I set my alarm for 9:00am and felt the butterflies in my stomach start to set in, this is it I'm really doing it I taught before I fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of my alarm I took a shower, brushed my teeth, dried and straightened my hair and put on some black skinny Jean's with a nice white short top.

The time was 9:45am and I was eating breakfast with Sophie who was clearly very excited for me. I grabbed my bags afterwards and checked the time 9:55am five minutes to go and my stomach feels like a whirlwind. I hear the car honk outside and I give Sophie a hug goodbye as I'm walking out I hear her shout "I'd love to be an aunty but not this soon" I laugh at her comment.
