Stephanie's POV

After months of preparation, it was finally time for our opening show for Grease. This whole play kind of changed the kind of year I was having... And other years to come too. It brought Louis and I together, it made me realize how much more of a jerk Nick is, and also it tore me away from Hannah, but I don't mind, what she did was wrong.

I was just about to leave for the show when Louis texted me,

Ready? ;)

I replied,

As I'll ever be :)

I got there and changed into my costume for scene one, and laid out my clothes for the other scenes. I heard a knock at my door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Hannah."

"I'm kind of busy," I lied.

"Stephanie, I know you're lying. Your voice always trembles when you lie."

"What do you want?" I said while opening the door. I turned away and walked back to what I was doing.

"You've been avoiding me."

"Have I?" I asked sarcastically.

"Steph..."

"Why do you think I've been avoiding you?"

"Why does it matter? You never even liked Nick. It wasn't hard to tell."

I turned to look at her. "It doesn't matter if I did like him or did not like him. What if I did like him? Ever thought maybe I didn't tell you? Maybe I'm not the best at showing emotions."

"You liked him?"

"God, no. But you didn't know. And then you go and cheat on Louis with him."

"At least I can get two boys who like me."

"Says the single one..."

"You're dating Louis?"

"Duh."

"I thought he liked me..."

"Are you kidding? He hated you. I made him go out with you because nobody liked you in that way."

"Thanks. Nobody has ever done that for me."

"Maybe because you have no other friends," I mumbled.

"And now I have none. Steph, I want you to know, you're my best friend, and I'm so sorry. I'll do anything, and I mean anything, to regain your trust."

"Too late."

"Give me a chance."

"Please leave."

She sighed. "Good luck."

"Goodbye, Hannah."

Louis and I successfully completed scene one, and for the short time that Nick, Lucas, James, and Michael were out there Louis and I talked.

"Hannah talked to me." Louis looked concerned.

"What'd she say?" his eyes widening.

"She's sorry-"

"Lies."

"I know. I don't know if she's up to something, or is literally sorry. But either way I don't care."

"Good." Louis hugged me from the side and ran onto the stage.

We all sang Summer Lovin', and it was great. After the scene of when Sandy meets Danny, we had an intermission.

Nick walked up to me. "Babe, I'm sorry-"

"Don't call me that."

"But you're my girlfriend."

"I was your girlfriend. And I never actually liked you.. You were pretty much a rebound."

"Come on, I know you liked me after Louis was being a jerk."

I did.

"Whatever."

"Take me back."

"I'm with Lou, and I'm much happier."

"Come on, what I did to you evens out with you using me-"

"I will never repay you, or Hannah. It does not "even out". What you did was much worse."

Nick's POV

"If freaking Louis wasn't in the picture everything would be perfect," I said to Hannah.

"Agreed. She's too hung up on him. What do we do?"

"I don't know. I'll think of something, don't worry."

Louis' POV

Nick eyed me suspiciously all night. You wanna go, Nick?

The show was finally over, and it was a success. Only four more to go... There's a positive and negative to that: MUCH more time with Steph and doing what love, and the negative, the suspicion of Nick. What's his problem anyways?

I got home and plopped on my bed. I took out my phone and did my routine of texting Stephanie goodnight.

Goodnight, babe. Love you.

She usually replied instantly...

Steph?

No reply.

You're worrying me.

She replied,

Help I need you. I'm at s

And that's where it ended. What the heck?
