Upstate 2

Stephanie's POV

The next day was chaotic. Everyone was running around the house. They were waiting for the bathroom since there was only one, getting into their bathing suits, eating lunch. I didn't think it would be this crazy. But I'm glad it's like this. It's not boring. I ran into the bathroom, seeing that it was free and got changed into my bikini. I brushed my teeth and my hair and put it in a messy bun. I got out of the bathroom and put on my flip flops. Daniella was putting on her flip flops as well.

"We're all meeting at the creek," she pointed out the window.

Daniella and I ran across the street and went down a trail that led us to the creek. "Louis made that trail a couple years back. I'm surprised it didn't get messed up."

I smiled. Both of us got down to the creek and saw everyone already there. To get to where they were, we had to go in the water. When my hand touched the water I felt it sting. I didn't think anything of it so I kept walking through the shallow water. The stinging got on my nerves and I lifted my hand out of the water. There was blood dripping down the side of my hand. Yep! Just my luck.

I groaned. "Oh crap. You probably scratched your hand on a sharp rock," Daniella said.

"It's fine I'll run back to the house to get a bandaid," I told her.

"I'll come with you," she said.

Both of us ran out of the water and back to the house. Good thing my feet were just wet. I walked into the bathroom and got a bandaid. I cleaned my hand and put it on the cut. I ran back to Daniella.

Both of us ran back down to the creek again and we found out we were going on an 'adventure' in groups. The thing was it was a game. Whoever got back here first wins. This was going to be hard because a) it was very slippery b) if you don't keep up they'll leave you behind and then you have to catch up with your group and c) you could get lost easily.

"Group A is Daniella, Alexandra, Maria, Johnny, and Alexandra's dad, Joe, group B is Brianna, Stephanie, Nina, Vin, and I," Louis announced.

"Why is there an adult with us?" Alexandra asked.

"Because you have a group of young people," Louis smirked.

"I'M FIFTEEN!" Daniella yelled.

He rolled his eyes. "I don't care!"

"WE BEGIN..... NOW!" Louis screamed.

Everyone scurried off into their groups and ran.

"Let's go this way, it's shorter," Vincent said.

We nodded. Louis held my hand and kissed my cheek. As all of us were walking Louis spoke, "So, how are you liking it here so far?"

"It's great," I smiled.

"What happened to your hand?!" his eyes bulged.

"It's fine, I just scraped it on something sharp," I laughed.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," I chuckled.

As I expected it got very slippery and hard to walk when he got to all of the rocks. The rocks were very slimy. It was gross.

Everyone fell when we walked on this very large rock that fit the five of us. We all laughed and tried to get up; which was a very hard thing to do.

When we eventually got up we saw a bunch of colorful rocks and a couple big rocks.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Brianna smirked.

All of us nodded. We ran over to the rocks and started to draw with them. A couple minutes we stopped and continued with the adventure.

We finally reached the finish line.

"YES!" Louis screamed.

"WE'RE THE WINNERS!" he yelled once again.

Everyone else came in one by one.

"You guys came in first?" Joe asked.

"Yeah," Vincent answered.

"Now we have to do the traditional rock jump," Nina said looking up.

I followed her eyes and she was looking at the rock that was as high as the trees. I have to jump off of that? Holy shit.

Louis grabbed my hand and ran. "LETS GO!"

We climbed up to the rock and I looked down.

"Woah," I whispered.

"Let's jump together," he smiled.

I nodded. He took my hand. "You ready?"

"Yeah," I gulped.

"One, two, THREE!" he yelled.

Both of us yelled on the way down. When we hit the water he swam over to me.

"Wasn't that fun?!" he laughed.

"Yep!" I giggled.

He gave me a kiss that lasted for a couple seconds.

"When we're alone I need to give you a much longer kiss," he winked.

I blushed and playfully hit him.

"I love you," he said.

"And I love you," I said.
