So, I had this crazy idea of putting together a meet up. I've never organised one before but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Trial and error, I muddled through and hey presto with a touch of magic dust, a pc, google and a touch of insanity...

I might not be the quietest one in the room (okay those who know me, you can stop laughing now), but I am a people person. Yet I feel within the writer's enclave of Wattpad, where writers come in all shapes, sizes and background, we all blend well together. In fact we thrive on our differences and support each other. Wattpad is a magical place and my life has only changed for the better for it. I thank every day that I stumbled upon it and actually started to write my first book. My dream actually came true to write a full length novel and now people actually think it is good enough to look at publishing when edited. Wow. That's all I can say. Through Wattpad I was encouraged to publish my songs and poems, that I had written over the last couple of decades and your feedback has been fantastic. I've learnt so much through people's critique and feedback and I couldn't evolve as a writer or continue to learn without that. For that reason Wattpad and the people within are so special to me.
I am fascinated with what makes people tick and people watching. I like nothing more than to sit at a cafe and make up stories about people who pass by and now I have an excuse, I can say I am a writer...because I am.
So I had this idea, that it would be great to get a few people together. I had no idea what to do, or how to keep them entertained. But I threw a few ideas up in the air and before I knew it, a full schedule seemed to appear before my eyes and I am astounded more than anyone that they materialised. I'd like to thank Sarah known as royal888 for her contribution also for her innovative games which really added to the day.

I always believe you shouldn't just take but give and this get together is one of the reasons for that. I hope to make it an annual event, so with your feedback and involvement this can only get better, brighter, with a great deal of laughter thrown in.
Thanks everyone for coming along. It means a lot that you gave your valuable time and some of you travelled long distances to attend. Deep thanks.
