Auditions: Part One

Terra skipped to auditions for the first ever glee club at Cesar Chavez. She couldn't wait to sing in front of someone who wouldn't be biased. Well, on the contrary, Mrs. Smith loved Terra and would of course let her in the club. Good singer or not.

"Terra? I don't know you liked to sing," Mrs. Smith smiled at her brightly, admiring the girl. Terra looked downward in response so she would hide her red cheeks.

"Yeah, I uh, I do," Her eyes still cast at the ground. Finally, Terra looks up again, readjusting her grip on the microphone. "I'm going to be singing Nobody Love by Tori Kelly."

Terra:

Mrs. Smith was astonished that one of her favorite students had an amazing voice and she had no idea that she was even particularly interested in the subject.

Walking by, Darren heard her voice, and peeked into the doorway. Terra? He thought, I didn't know she could sing so beautifully. Her voice inspiring him, as he made his way to sign his name under hers.

Karina saw Darren staring at Terra, making her worried. She couldn't let him leave her, and he already had one foot out the door. She tossed her black hair behind her shoulder before making her way toward him.

"Hey babe," Karina put a hand on his shoulder. His head cocked to the left and he smiled at her. Darren let his eyes dart to the sign up sheet to show her he signed up. "You signed up?!"

"Hey, and yes," He was suprised hat she had such an incredulous tone. As if he wouldn't dream to do it. But the reality was if she were still friends with Terra she would only hope that someone like him would join.

"Why?" Karina feigned disgust to hide her disappointment.

"Why not? Also more votes for prom king and queen. I mean we didn't have the votes before but now we definitely do," Darren reminds her making Karina sigh and give in, pretending that his argument was the reason.
