"Shay. Wake up dear." Dean gently shook his new husband in an attempt to wake him. "For what reason?" Seamus mumbled with his eyes still closed. "On the reason that everyone is coming here for lunch." He told him. "That's interesting, because it is currently—" Seamus opened his eyes to look at the clock by their bed. "— 10 o'clock. And most people don't eat lunch till pm. Which is after 12, in two hours." Dean laughed. "Nice logic babe but we all know you take forever to get ready and they'll be there by 12:30." Seamus groaned and rolled over to face Dean. Dean smiled at him and kissed his nose. "I'll wake Luna and make some toast. Merlin knows I don't want to have to buy another toaster." With that Dean left the room. Seamus laughed and got up himself to get ready. Their good friend Luna was staying with them for awhile, for very good reason. She was pregnant. They had talked to her in the past about wanting to start a family and thought of adopting when she offered to be a surrogate for them. They were shocked, of course, and asked her if she was sure. "I'd be honored to help give you guys a child. I'm on a break from traveling, and I'm not married. Now is a good a time as ever." They had a big house and two extra rooms so they invented her to stay. While they weren't the only ones with a pregnancy announcement she was the only one that was due any day now.

The whole house was full of life. Some were outside playing Quidditch while others were in conversations. Most of the children were playing. Seven year old Teddy sat on the floor with two year old James making his hair change color to the young boys amusement. All the pregnant women had formed their own group, talking about who knows what. It all happened pretty fast. Luna stopped mid sentence and grabbed her stomach, Hermione screamed something about her water breaking, then hell broke loose. Bloody hells and oh my gods were thrown around, there was a scramble to grab bags and children, the house was even more alive than it was before.

Within the next hours there was a new addition to this giant family, and this giant family was squeezed into the room to see them. "Congratulations." Luna said as she went to hand the baby to them. Seamus took the small bundle in his arms. He looked at Dean who was already smiling back. "We're fathers love." They shared a kiss while their friends awed. "What's her name?" Ron asked. "Sadie." They said together. Luna, Hermione, and Ginny started to tear up. Seamus looked down at his new daughter who was yawning. "Don't fall asleep now. You got a whole family to meet." He said to her. He went around introducing her to everyone. Hermione and Ginny were still crying when he came to them. Dean sat down beside Luna in the bed.
"Thank you Luna." He said to her. "You're welcome Dean. And you're one of my best friends, it was an honor." She told him. "I have one more question to ask if you don't mind. Would you be her Godmother? Me and Seamus discussed it and we can't think of anyone better." He asked her. Her eyes widened and her eyebrows raised. "Are you serious?" She asked. "Of course." He told her. Tears entered her eyes again. "Yes! Absolutely!" She hugged him tight. "You tell her?" Seamus asked from across the room where Fleur was fawning over the baby. Dean nodded.

The next few days consist of calling and informing family and friends. They even sent an owl to McGonagall which came back with a letter offering her congrats and stating how excited she is for this one to come to Hogwarts. There was even a package full of candy for Luna.  And it must be said, Sadie Shay Finnigan-Thomas was a firecracker.

She was five when she finally met her grandmother who hugged her and cried, which she didn't understand.

She was six when she got to go to Diagon Alley and got lost in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

She was seven when she blamed everything on Luna's cat.

She was eight when she set the toaster on fire while cleaning.

She was nine when she and Teddy almost got away with dyeing her hair red.

She was ten when she called Neville her favorite uncle.

She was eleven when she got her letter and was sorted into Gryffindor.

She was twelve when she cautiously made friends with the boy who had two girls constantly fawning over him.

She was thirteen when she saw that the boy was a jerk and so were his friends.

She was fourteen when a third year Ravenclaw asked her if she would take him to the Yule Ball since he wasn't old enough and wouldn't get the chance to go again. She said yes.

She was fifteen when she had tea with "professor Longbottom" every Saturday.

She was sixteen when she noticed how there was one younger student the boy and his friends always defended no matter what.

She was seventeen when she graduated with a N.E.W.T in potions. (Despite constantly blowing something up)

She was eighteen when she realized the boy wasn't a jerk, he was just raised that way.

She was nineteen when she got a flat of her own, and blew up the microwave.

She was twenty when she saw this boy wasn't half bad.

She was twenty-one when she married him.
