Sherri-
After my conversation with my doctor about my test results, didn't know whether to be happy or disappointed, not about the news mind you about who I wanted to give this news too, I'm not exactly happy to be giving this news to Kamar I rather it was Teri I was giving it too. Kamar arrives back home from his run, Hey babe, so did the doctor call you back with the test results? he ask. Yeah, Yeah, he said that I am a healthy woman, everything is good and that I am pregnant, I said. Dropping the bottled water he had just pulled from the refrigerator, he was speechless. Wait a minute could you repeat what you just said, he ask. I'm a healthy woman, I say. Stopping me from continuing, No the last part, he asked. Oh that I'm pregnant, I say. That's what I thought you said, he replied. The next thing I know he starts jumping from shear excitement. Baby we're going to have a little one? He ask. He walks over to me and takes me in his arms giving me one passionate kiss, is it crazy that I wish that passionate kiss was coming from Teri? I think to myself. So you're excited I assume, I ask. What are you kidding me I am over the moon with excitement Sher, He says, aren't you excited? He ask. Yeah of course I am, I say. Well you don't seem like it, don't you want this baby? he ask. Yeah, but I'm just thinking this isn't the best time for us to start a family Kamar you know I just started this new series, I say. What are you talking about Sher we're not getting any younger to keep holding it off, we're not exactly in are twenties babe, he says. I know, it's just we have been trying for years, and now that I have this exciting new job, I say. What are you saying you don't want this baby? he ask. That's not what I'm saying, it's just not the right time, I say. So when do you think the right time will be Sherri, when we're fifty or maybe sixty years old, he says sounding angry. Kamar come on, I say. Look Sherri most women would be excited to tell their husbands when they were expecting a baby, but you just seem a little disappointed, he says. I'm not disappointed, I say. Well you could have fooled me, he says. Kamar, I say. You know Sherri I need some air, he says. He walks out the door slamming it behind him. I just sit on the couch crying.
