Heading for the palace garden is a very good idea for me right now considering that prick is actually staying here for who knows how long. Why was he ever born? There was peace before he got here. Him staying here would have to mean no going outside the palace because this time, there would have to be twice the number of guards patrolling inside and out. Thank God they only assigned one guard to the garden and two outside my bedroom and two at the library. Those are the only places I feel safe.
I finally got to the garden and sat on one of the marble benches. It seems kind of quiet, what was I missing? I heard a rustle of leaves at my back. I came closer to see what it was that was causing this lot of rustling. I parted the leaves sideways and there he was.
My puppy, Crate. Aside from my other friends, me and Crate are actually best of friends. He was the one that helped me find out that there were slugs on my bed when I was 8. Guess who put it there? The loser I was talking about earlier. And that's not the only incident he has saved me from.
“You look peaceful Crate, wish I could be like that.” She just purred and cuddled up on my lap. We were like that for a while but her sleep and my gaze on the flowers were broken when we heard some loud giggles and whispering. I mean, who the hell would giggle and whisper that loud?!
Then there was some trying-to-be-quiet laughing. Then it went kind of quiet. There were still sound I can’t make out so I tried my best to find them. Then there was whispering again, I followed the sound and---
“Aha!” looking at them invading each other’s private space was very uncomfortable to look at. It was kind of disturbing. I shuudered and took a step back.
“What the Hell! What do you think you're doing?!” Everest shouted and for a second I thought I should run and hide but I saw the girl he was with. It was Crystal Cervantes, Princess of Bullying, Faking and Snogging. How’d she get here?
“Hey! I should be the one asking questions here!” I shouted at him stating the facts throught the hatred that is basically pouring out of my eyes right now that is directed at both of those idiots. “What were the two of you doing? And why is she here?” God, was this a surprise.
"Actually don't answer my first question cause I wouldn't want to know."
I looked at Crystal and she started whispering something to Everest. Everest tensed and for a moment I thought he was going to attack but he and Crystal just walked to me and hurriedly grabbed my necklace and ran away.
Running after them, a lot of “No!” and “HEY! COME BACK HERE!” slipped from my mouth. I couldn’t catch up and I ended up crying.
I ran to my bedroom and cried all the way there. That necklace belonged to my Grandmother, the past queen of Cyphrid. She gave it to me the day before she died. She said that she would always be here with me to guide me and care for me and she made me promise not to lose the necklace.
It was both important to me and her and they just took it away like that. They might be selling it right now or Everest might give it to Crystal since he’s a sucker for googly-eyed, cake-faced, plastic beasts.
They were both bullies and I could see no more perfect couple than they. With the thought on torturing them I finally went to sleep crying.

It was an afternoon when I woke up. I got confused and remembered that it was this morning when I slept so I must have slept for 4 or 3 hours. I raised my hand to feel my necklace and it wasn’t there. I started to panic and then I remembered the incident earlier. Those scoundrels took my necklace and I could do nothing since my father must still be angry with the incident earlier along with my mother.
