«Hidden feelings» - Yoongi ff

~Rei's POV~

I stared at him in disbelief before rolling my eyes. He's probably having a bad day or something, he'll get over it. He'll come back to tease me about dumb stuff sooner or later. No big deal, right? 

"Okay, fine then. Go if you don't want to talk to me!" I said, raising my voice a little more than I wanted to. Yoongi did just that, he probably went to the music room first to get his stuff, after that he just left, as far as I can see through the window. I sighed and shook my head. I made sure I had all my things and left the room.

I walked down and out of school, I should've brought a hoodie or something, it was pretty cold. I started making my way to my house, then I bumped into something, someone I should say. I fell down and fixed my hair first before anything. Bangs always covering my right eye. I gathered some of the stuff that fell out until I saw another hand. Then I looked up in front of me, it was Jin.

"Oh... Hey there." I said a bit quieter than I wanted, my voice isn't cooperating with my mind at all so far.

"Oh, Rei, nice to see you here! Were you just walking from school?"

"No Jin, I just happened to be walking with my bag filled with school related stuff and no candy."

"Alright, no need to be sassy!" He chuckled, putting his hands up in defence. I rolled my eyes. We gathered my stuff and I placed everything bag in my bag. Jin stood up and held out a hand for me to take, I took it gladly. He's a nice person so why wouldn't I? I dusted off the specks of dirt off my shirt and pants.

"Thanks for helping..."

"No need for thanks, my pleasure!" He said with a big smile on his face. He was really optimistic, it was... cute? In like the babyish way.

"You seem down, are you okay?" Jin suddenly asked. I simply nodded my head..

"Yeah, it's nothing."

"Are you sure? When people say it's nothing it's usually something, you can tell me what you need you know."

"Hmm... Wait, you think of me as a friend? Not enemy or a frenemy?"

"I mean, you're nice and laidback, I don't hate you for anything!" 

"Oh hehe... Thanks I guess." I said rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly.

"How about we get a coffee? You don't look too happy so maybe a coffee will calm you down." He suggested, I thought about it for a second and shrugged. A coffee with the guy wouldn't hurt.

"Sure, lead the way." I said gesturing for him to walk. He smiled and nodded as he started walking, me following beside him.

We were walking and it was the awkwardest of awkward silences. We eventually made it into a good cafe. I mean it's Starbucks, expensive but good, you know? Jin insisted that he'd pay even though I wanted to pay, I didn't like being in debt for anything.

We were at the cashier and I looked at the menu for some cold drinks. The Iced Caramel Macchiato looked pretty good. I guess Jin saw me eyeing it so he ordered two of them.

"Two Iced Caramel Macchiatos please!" Jin told the cashier. She nodded and asked for our names to write on the cups. Since I was really antisocial, Jin was just gonna speak for both of us, how nice.

"Jin and Rei!" Jin said, smiling at the lady. She nodded as she wrote.

"Jin and Rei? You look adorable together! Want me to draw hearts on your cups?" She asked giving us a smile. What the hell, we weren't a couple!
