Jemima picked on me all day.

It was three and a half weeks ago that she talked to me for the first time. I was so excited. I'd never been talked to by a girl.

Ever since then I've been having strange dreams.

Last night, I saw a dark rock. I swam to it. I tried to eat it for some reason and I swallowed it whole. It was a massive rock, about half a centimeter in diameter.

When I woke up, Jemima was right by me.

"Hi, Sunset," she said.

"H-hey, Jemmy," I said. Sometimes my brothers and I call her that.

"So, have you been having strange dreams?" she asked.

"Yeah. So wierd," I said. "I tried to eat a rock. How stupid."

She immediately started laughing. "What color?"

"Black."

She stopped laughing. "I had the same dream last night! I came to see if I could tell you because I know you're honest but since you already know..."

"It's okay, Jemmy," I said. "We'll get over it. It's just a phase."

Little did I know, life would be so much weirder.

The next day, I had a flashback to when I was bought. Sadie was so nice to us. The lady who scooped us up was so mean. I tried to swim and I was scooped up by a giant net. I was losing water. Then I couldn't breathe.

I flipped and flopped and tried to get free but it didn't work. Then I fell into a tiny bag with five other fish. The water splashed around and it didn't stop.

"Sunset!" Jemmy yelled.

"Yes?" I said.

"You were running into the glass," she said.

"What?" I said.

"Was it a flashback?" she said.

"How did you know?" I said.

"It's a fish thing. You don't just do that," she said.

My tail started to hurt. My head started throbbing. I decided to relax on the bottom of the tank and laid on my side.

"Sunny?" called Jemmy. It was fuzzy. I was fading.

Sadie came over to the tank and was stressing me out by moving me around with another net. I remembered the day I was bought and swam away. Finally Sadie left.

I faded and my vision went dark.
