The Wall

I stared at you, taking in all your details.

When the sun shined on you did you light up the room and when it was dark you seemed to hide out of sight.

I wondered what you been through, you've been here for years and years always keeping quiet about the things you saw and heard.

I wondered what people told you at 3am when their heart was breaking and they broke down in front of you not a care in the world that you were watching them.

Or maybe that time when you trusted someone so much but they destroyed you in the end. Hitting you so hard that they left a scar visible for the world see.

However, they covered it up and no one knew the hell you went through that day, now that the scars were covered and you were seen as brand new.

I have so many questions about your life all the secrets you held dear.

But you could never tell anyone who asks because after all you are just a wall.
