Jason Probst. My old boyfriend. He left me for another girl 2 years ago, didn't even warn me. I can't face it, I can't think of him as a jerk. I will always love you, Jason. Even when you break my heart. I sigh, and run my fingers through my twisted hair. Why did he leave me? What did I do wrong?
"What happened, Jason?" I whisper to myself. Firm hands grip my shoulders from behind.
"I made a mistake," a familiar voice says. I freeze,
"J-Jason?" I stammer.
"Madi, I made a huge mistake believing you weren't the one."
"Jason," is all I can say.
"I'm so, so, so sorry Madi. Please, forgive me," Jason sits beside me.
"How did you find me?" I ask.
"You always go to the park at 3," Jason answers as if it's obvious.
"You remembered."
"I couldn't forget," he seems regretful of leaving me. I sit up, and turn to face him.
"Jason," I begin. He raises his head. "Have you ever thought about, maybe, running away together?"
"Y-yes."
"I know it sounds crazy, but I still love you," I blurt.
"Madi, I never stopped loving you."
"Then let's run away from this all, be free, careless, crazy. Let's have fun!" I continue. Jason stands, and offers me his hand. I take it, and am pulled up to find myself face to face with him. We lean in, and kiss. The kiss seems to go on forever. We pull away, and Jason takes my hand. He pulls me along with him, over the hill, and towards the horizon.
"Madison?" he asks.
"Yeah?"
"You will always be my one and only little star." I grin, and give him a quick kiss. We then turn back towards the horizon, and race into the sunset.
