Judging by the title of this chapter, I think you can see what is going to happen. It all happened so fast and I didn't know how Christine would think of me after I told her this but I decided that I needed to take risks in life to make it more interesting -and more interesting it got. So here it goes.
It was a fairly eventful day for an August, summer's day. Started off the day on a float trip that was down one of the biggest rivers in the country and it was amazingly beautiful the whole way down. My sister lost her phone in the river while we were docking the boats at the pick up area which made the day feel like a rollercoaster ride. Flash forward to the evening and I just decided to hit up to Christine to ask the usual questions.
"Whatcha doin'?"
"How's the book coming along?"
"Am I in it?😂😂😂"
But then I realized that it was killing me inside to just not tell her, so I told her. I had revealed to her that I had a crush on her for the longest time and it was eating me up inside to not say anything, so I took the risk. Not only did I feel a weight lift off my shoulders but I also knew that Christine could trust me and that we were comfortable enough to tell each other anything. I feel like a new person, and with that, I feel like we have a new dynamic in our relationship that could only stand the test of time.
